Hot take: I think musicians should discuss what we get paid more often. I know folks don’t like to do that, but it would illuminate a lot of discrepancies & issues re festival pay, what venues pay us, what we pay our team & crew (managers, agents, tour managers, etc)…

@halflovesband the streams are close to worthless. sure more ears listening but that doesn't equal sales. that doesn't pay the bills. we sell more music at shows vs not which makes the pandemic even more devastating in an industry that already puts profit over artists.
