This afternoon the Eco Committee joined Ollie from 100 Tons of Plastic on a litter pick at Grays Beach. We are excited that they have been able to contribute to their goal of removing plastic waste from shores and seas. @FishLocalGB @EcoSchools @DPWorldUK

A tiny squid, a small anchovy and this seahorse! These were amongst the usual juvenile bass and herring during one weeks survey in the river Medway. The Environment agency run surveys to look at numbers of small fish as well as any new or invasive species. #survey #fishlocalGB

Brill and Turbot-both flat fish, they are seen locally but not in large numbers, they are caught as a bonus bycatch when targeting other species! When cooking something new it's always good to keep it simple and appreciate their different flavour #somethingdifferent #fishlocalGB
