People—primarily women—realized how much money and fame they could make, and how easily they could live with almost zero effort
It’s gotten so big that pushing it on children and teenagers feels like an insignificant consequence to them. The damage it causes barely registers. They have enough cultural power to terrify anyone from speaking about it rationally. They know people will bend the knee for clout, and they weaponize that while feigning innocence
They’ll attack, blackball, slander, and destroy anyone who questions it—even if it’s from a place of love and wanting a better future for everyone. They’ll slander you to your friends, threaten to abandon anyone who supports you, anything to keep the money coming in without pushback
It’s a system that perpetuates the male mental health crisis and predatorily hooks teenagers as early as possible… and nobody cares, because the money and clout are just too good
Sounds a lot like the Hollywood we’ve come to know

So, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing Discord to push for mandatory age verification for all users.
And IF this passes, it could force just about anyone who use discord to be required to pass Govt ID checks, facial scans etc, before they can log in or register...
All to "protect the kids" he says...
