@StormDash_10 He took somebody's pro-trans art and used AI to edit it into being an american flag instead, saying "fixed it". That is a blatantly, directly hateful gesture. Also, they are not "an artist" as you refer to them in the relpies. They used AI. There is zero creation of art in that.

Here’s a problem I’ve had that I’ve mentioned before. Not too long ago, a follower of mine was needlessly harassed over an opinion. The defense? “It’s just fanart” or “Just a head canon”. You want those, that’s fine. But the type of people who say this are also the type to harass others over different beliefs. Including Sonic holding an American flag. So, two straight characters head canoned as gay is “just fanart” but Sonic with an American Flag is “hatred”. Then these people wonder why they don’t get taken seriously. And I’ve seen the excuses. “America is ran by corruption”. “ICE are terrorists”. “It’s AI”. “Always a Sally fan”. Never a real argument, just hatred, lies and straw men. The hypocrisy is insane and quite frankly, I’m getting tired of having to be nice about it. Some of you people really need help. But I am going to be nice enough not to show any names this time. Use this as an opportunity to improve yourself as a person.

@DontBotherRport lack some amount of confidence. Or not, who knows, don't gotta assume behind their back! But I for one would love to see them get all the financial support they clearly deserve. Sorry you hate artists so much, hope you learn to have a little more love and hope in your heart ✌️

@DashLilHog idk if they used sa1 or 2 art for the 2000s pfp I'd probably believe it but they went for advance of all things, so I get the feeling they're gonna go for something at least a little less used for the 90s one

@Wrograln I also think the extra bits of fleshy detail on the lid pushes it into the uncanny valley so that could probably be removed

@Wrograln While I generally dislike lowering the middle brow for characters blinking, I think for winking it works since it makes the separation not look as out of place and also emphasizes the wink in a good cartoony way.

@ZachInsomnia Slightly disagree if only because this particular bit of art is far from the best they could have chosen, it looks a bit jank and a bit stale. Still significantly better than everything we got before but I think I'd have preferred they choose some different art personally

@TwanDaMegalodon I don't really care how "baseless" you think it is, or if you disagree, because people disagree about things like this and that's normal. But you are throwing a TANTRUM over a minor difference of opinion, painting me as a villain for it and acting like a spoiled brat.

The main problem with panels like this isn't just an IDW Sonic problem, but a huge problem with modern writing in general. The idea of silent moments that speak for themselves is becoming more and more rare. They act like there must be 24/7 dialogue to keep the reader engaged.
