i've been in the games industry for 11 years, somehow managed to evade prior rounds, and this is my first layoff. i'll be taking the time to relax and recover before thinking through next steps 🧡

Just like with Devin, I had the pleasure of chatting with Laudie on multiple occasions. We've had game related discussions, we've had more personal ones which I will forever remember. Words cannot describe how much it pains me seeing her gone. Wherever you go, you'll kick ass

I survived the layoffs, but it's incredibly difficult to stomach what my friends, who did not, are going through right now.

i am genuinely so confused and bewildered
like, i spent the past week debugging the rivalry system while recovering from pneumonia
and just in the past few days i’ve had multiple directors tell me how much they appreciate everything i do

@kurlancheek @CartridgeBros Seconded. I use the Wave 3 with the NVIDIA voice app and it cuts out my dogs whines and barks, as well as my keyboard/ambient.

My new apartment office is open to the living room downstairs so ambient noise is being picked up by my decade old $50 Yeti mic.
Can I fix this with a better mic? If so, hit me with your recs. For use patterns, I sit on zoom ALL DAY LONG and get interviewed occasionally.
