Still reflecting on the past week across our @accomplish_mat & at @IPAT_Edu . I’ve seen pure joy-laughter, big smiles, confident voices, & thoughtful, critical debate. What stood out most? A deep sense of belonging. Belonging is the foundation of true happiness & the key to thriving. We must never lose sight of our moral purpose. Education is not only about doing the basics brilliantly, but about empowering young people to shape, challenge, and improve the world around them. This is something I’ve always held at my core & exemplified so well this week. Such a brilliant day. Inspiring practice seen in every room. A sharp focus on explicit oracy and precise teaching. Pupils speaking so highly about the school and staff. Thank you to such welcoming colleagues for sharing their work. So much to take away from today.

An absolute privilege to visit @foxfield and @RockliffeManor today and to listen to colleagues and children from across @IPAT_Edu. The impact of pupil agency and a strong Oracy curriculum was so apparent in every interaction with every child. So much to reflect upon! 🌟🌟

@foxfield we had a great afternoon dancing for our Diwali event. We were shown some moves we could make. It was lots of fun. Then after school we could try lots of different foods and make some lamps that we could take home.

@foxfield On Wednesday we had our first trip of the term. We visited the library in Woolwich. The children explored the library surroundings, listen to the rules and expectations and borrowed a book of their choice. We finished our session by listening to a story. 📖🤓📚
