@FFScout_Tom That’s the key distinction. People are treating the own goal touch as a separate defensive action in the chain, but FPL clearly seem to be judging the scorer’s touch differently from a second intervening defender.

@OfficialFPL The outrage is mostly because it looks wrong in real time, but once they judged there was no United touch after Bruno, the assist was always going to survive the review.

SCOUT: After review, the assist for Manchester United's second goal is awarded to Bruno Fernandes. His deflected pass led to the own goal from James Hill. There was no touch from Harry Maguire before the own goal.

@FplOakwell Feels harsh on common sense, but very on-brand for FPL. Once there’s enough attacking intent in the chain, they’ll happily let chaos do the rest.
