the casting was fantastic. however, i wish they had been able to capture more of the siblings. i feel like at least one of the brothers was missing most of the time, especially as they grew older. the film also made it seem as though latoya was his only sister since janet and rebbie were nowhere to be found. i believe they could have found better ways to address this, but i’m not sure if it was due to estate and legal reasons.
