it is natural for most filmmakers to develop tunnel vision. The script for this was written in 2016 and it's been almost ten years in the making. You need a certain amount of obsession to make these things happen. But that also blinds you to objectivity. this is why data helps

Even if they had an original camera negative they can’t fix it, they can color grade and add filters to make it look more like the originals but 4 was made that way by design it wasn’t a filter added in post production, unfortunately

@FromMagic_Zep @JudeJarjoura it makes the rumours of the "dark brown/tan filter" they added to the 4K scan feel true if they're making the cover brown. Twister (1996) 4K had a green cover art to reflect the green sky.

@DaQueenKathy @LionsgateHorror That was done using lighting, not filters, so even if they wanted to and had a print of the original film negative they can’t remove it, they can add some filters to cover it up but it’ll never look the way the rest of them do, it was done by design, terrible choice but wtv

It's color graded like a Zack Snyder movie. The life has been completely pulled out of it. Modern color grading is so bad.

Okay - this may not land well with some of the sensitive ones... but it needs to be said.. It's honestly surprising to see anyone openly talking about distributing a pirated movie like it’s just any other normal content. Especially when that movie is going to be released in a matter of days. What you choose to do privately is one thing, but publicly laying out plans, sharing links, and turning it into a whole thing online just feels unnecessary. At that point, it comes across less about the movie and more about desperately chasing likes and the attention. Not everything needs to be broadcast for clicks or reactions. Some things are better left off the timeline. Thoughtfulness must have flew off the pirate ship on that post. I am sorry for ranting - BUT I am just getting driven crazy lately with the lack of authenticity and all the pandering across the board. I know most of you see it too. Here is my advice for those clamoring for ideas. Take a break. Re-evaluate. Come back fresh. #Scream7 #isaidwhatisaid

@lynchinist Titanic is one of the greatest movies ever made it’s incredibly historically accurate aside from the two main characters but the last 90 mins is p horrific

pulp fiction and titanic are my biggest movie blindspots and i have no desire to watch neither of them
