I see the footsteps and the laughter of the present people of Peubla, connected to their past. I can feel the footsteps of the Old, buried under the sheets of pavement. I can feel the future, as this time and these people fade away. I walk into a courtyard and I can hear the music of 300 years ago singing out. It’s like walking through a living Time Machine, and the present commotion is just another tick on the clock.
