@DominiqueLaine @HansGlueck007 @nicolange_ What I tell you can be verified easily. If you are interested in fighter jets I recommend you to invest some time in the history of fighter jets since WW2, for instance in UK, Germany (since the french you obviously know well 😉).

@DominiqueLaine @HansGlueck007 @nicolange_ The "copy" suggestion is a hypothesis. I just gave you facts, why this could probably be just propaganda against Airbus. I can understand Trappier. He must keep Airbus down at all price to avoid another competitor in Europe.

@DominiqueLaine @HansGlueck007 @nicolange_ Airbus does master post-stall EFM flight laws and did the FCS on X-31 and Eurofighter, which is unbeatable in high energy WVR maneuvers. So this can be discussed 🤷 MBB/Dasa did train the colleagues of BAe on FC.

@FullsteamX @HansGlueck007 @nicolange_ The boss of dassault has explained it several time on french tv. I m not a specialist but he has said that airbus ds 's engineers will understand exactly how dassault build a fighter jet and will copy the method. it 's the result of decades of research.

@Peter63712585 @KepaSagardi A400M price is 120M, Eurodrone is aimed to be 200M unit and continuing to go up, and with how well the program is going similar flight hour cost wouldn't surprise anyone.

France launches the development of new capabilities for the #A400M to equip the aircraft with multi-mission capabilities in the fields of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). Thanks to the new mission system, the French A400Ms will be ready to play a key role in the joint operations of the future. Learn more: ow.ly/8GGK50ZcamE #Eurosatory

@Aviation_Intel The sole objective here is to keep the KNDS France turret engineering busy in order to not lose competences. This tank is not necessary since current state of the art european tanks are available as a bridge towards MGCS (Leo, Panther, Challenger 3). Production rate 150 🤷

French Dassault fanboy bubble is getting crazy. Panic in the room 🥳 FCAS SCAF
Fullsteam_XC@FullsteamX

@Oitajpn It is much simpler. As long as the government has no budget and Dassault no partner, there is nothing to say. Perplexity 🥳

Many people interpret Dassault's silence after the collapse of FCAS as a sign of weakness. I'm not convinced. Here are the most relevant points. 1/ Dassault is unlikely to be "stunned". Éric Trappier had been warning for months that the program was heading towards a dead end if Airbus refused a clear governance structure. The collapse was hardly a surprise. 2/ Airbus DS and Dassault are in very different situations. Airbus needs to reassure Berlin, Madrid and its industrial partners, hence the constant videos, announcements and the new German-Spanish industrial consortium. Dassault doesn't face the same pressure. It already has Rafale, a strong export pipeline, and the full know-how required to design and integrate a combat aircraft. 3/ Silence may simply mean negotiations are taking place behind closed doors. The UAE and India have both been mentioned as potential long-term partners or funding sources, and Trappier himself previously suggested France could seek alternative partners if necessary. 4/ While Germany now has the financial resources to launch an ambitious fighter program, money alone does not create decades of expertise overnight. Designing, integrating and certifying a true sixth-generation combat aircraft remains an immense challenge. 5/ My interpretation is simple: Airbus is communicating because it needs to. Dassault is staying quiet because it can. The silence looks less like shock and more like a company working on its next move before making any public announcement. My 2 pences : >20%: Dassault is genuinely caught off guard. >50%: Dassault is quietly working on a national path built around Rafale F5 technologies and a future French NGF. >30%: Dassault is already exploring partnerships with countries such as the UAE, India, or potentially others before making any public move.
