GAHS Varsity Softball

The jags finished off the regular season strong with a 7-1 win. Tillman goes the distance with 8k’s 1 hit. Horn & Mayfield with 3 hits, Horn with a HR. Jessie & Simmons had 2 hits each. Everyone contributed including a big catch by Haun now on to Regional Playoffs Wednesday!

Also a big thanks to Vinny’s Italian Restaurant for donating the pre-game meal.

Jags win 4-2 on the road again. Lester goes 4 2/3 strong inn w/4K’s,, 5hits 2 Runs, Tillman goes 2 1/3 inn w/3K’s, 0 hits. Tillman (HR), Simmons and Christian(2B) each collected 2 hits on the night. Horn and Jessie each had a hit. Jags open finally at home Thursday @6pm

Lady Jags roll again 8-0. Lead by Haun with 3 hits - HR, 3B and a single. Horn and Jessie with 2 hits each. Lester started on the mound with 3 IP- 2 hits, 0 runs 4K’s , Tillman closes with 4 IP, 0 hits, 0 runs 12K’s. We take the field again Friday at Godwin 7pm.

GA opens with a bang 20-1 last night. Lester goes 3inns, 6k’s and one run Tillman close with 2 inns, 5k’s 0 runs to combine on a no hitter. Hitting was a plenty last night Simmons led with 4 hits and Haun, Mayfield 3 hits each and Haun hitting a 2 run HR. Great Job Ladies.

I couldn’t imagine a greater group of ladies together! It started with workouts in the fall thru a 10 inning heartbreaker last night. Good luck Seniors Alyssa, Grace, Kaylee, Becca and Ashlee. While it ended sooner you the coaches and team will not forget you!@GAHS_DSA

Jags win again in a rain shortened game 6-2. Tharp throws 5 strong with 8k’s. Jags powered by HR’s from Christian (2 Run), Via (solo) and Tharp (solo). Garner had 2 hits for the jags. Jags finish their season away on Thursday 6pm at Godwin.

Jags win again 11-1. Tharp throws 6 strong innings with 7k’s. Limbach, Garner each had 2 hits, Christian a 3 run HR, Via with 3 hits including a double to score the game ending run. Jags back at it away tomorrow 6pm at Freeman HS.

Jags complete the sweep and win GM2 5-0. Tharp goes 4 strong, 1 hit, 9 k’s. Jaidyn Tillman throws the final inning in relief. With 0 hits, 1K. Christian, Via, Tharp and Jones all had a hit to lead the scoring.. Jags back in action Monday May 15th at home 6pm game..

Jags win GM 1 tonight 8-4. Ava Lester throws 3 innings with 5K. Jaidyn Tillman throws the last 2z Zee CD da Tharp and Christian have multiple hits with Christian 5 a home run. Stay tuned for GM 2…

Jags win 10-0. Tharp throws a no-hitter with 8k’s. Meharg, Via, Christian and Limbach all had RBI’s. Haun led the Jags with 3 hits followed by Meharg with 2 Hits. The jags are away Friday at Freeman for a 7pm game. @GAHS_DSA

Jags win a tough contest 7-5. Tharp goes the distance with 7k’s. HR’s powered the jags, as Christian hits a solo HR, Horn hits a 2 run homer and Garner hits a Grand Slam to put the jags in the lead. Meharg, Via and Limbach all had hits. Jags back in action 4/25 @ 6pm.

Jags do it again. Tharp throws 3 perfect innings. Tillman closes out the game surrendering just one walk no hits. Garner, Christian, Meharg, Lester, Haun and Lantz led the jags with hits. Final 12-0. Back in action at home Friday 7pm.

Jags do it again with a 11-1 win in 6 innings. Tharp throws a 2 hit, 7 K game. Jags collected 11 hits. Meharg goes 3-4 with a game sealing walk off 2 run HR and a 2B. Tharp, Christian and Horn had multiple hits. Jags are off for a week and back at it 4/12 at 6pm.@GAHS_DSA

Jags do it again 15-2 in 5 innings. Tharp goes strong on the mound allowing 2 runs on 3 hits with 5k’s. Haun leads hitting with 4 hits - 2 singles, double & triple. Tharp has 2 - 2b, Christian, Garner, Horn and Via each had 1 - 2B each. Jags rack up 14 hits total! @GAHS_DSA

Jags do it again with a 8-2 win Tuesday. Led by Tharp on the mound 6 strong innings giving up 1 hit, 8k’s, 1 Run. Tillman closes the 7th giving up 1 run. Garner and Haun led the hitting with 2 hits each. Christian hits 1 HR. Next game away Friday at Deep Run HS 7pm.
