So it's the time. In the last 2 month I've stopped drugs,I get back a social life and take back a physical and mental health. But in that time I realized that my place is not anymore on F1. I retire. To everyone that gave me a chance. And everyone that I work with. Thank you.

@alexandba74 @paddock_inside @OffTrack_FR Non non, j’ai payé 118€ mon billet pour les 24h cette année, un billet semaine (alors que le GP3 pour 2 jours ce serait 69x2, = 138€ Les gens font et achètent ce qu’il veulent, j’ai rien le droit de dire dessous. Par contre tu peux avoir des meilleurs expériences pour - cher

@paddock_inside @OffTrack_FR J’suis d’accord sur ca, et a la base l’event etait aussi pour faire découvrir le sport auto, mais avec le casting et la qualité en piste, j’espère ca va pas dégrader son image. Et puis bon même avec ces prix, ca va très surement être sold out

@GL_Ultraaa @OffTrack_FR Après, je joue l'avocat du diable : un évènement de 3 jours, l'ACO facture.... enfin.... FACTURE !!! L'organisation coute une tonne sur 3 jours ! Sur 1 jour, le billet entrance, ça se comprend, sur 3 jours, tu payes pour assurer l'affluence qu'il n'y aura pas les autres jours !

@paddock_inside @OffTrack_FR Et d’un coté tu as + de 24h autour du circuit avec les courses annexes, les qualifs etc… contre une bande de branquignol qui vont claquer meme pas 40 tours avec toutes les séances, et ou il y aura aucune performance incroyable en piste, et pour la plupart des pseudo-connaisseurs

@paddock_inside @OffTrack_FR Mais le pire c’est que tu prends un billet en enceinte général pour le week-end (2 ducoup), c’est + cher que pour un billet semaine des 24h du Mans J’sais pas si on se rend compte, mais voir une course LÉGENDAIRE, Historique, etc… C’est lunaire (alors que ya aussi des concerts)

I think a lot of answers are confusing the platform and its professional usage... Simracing is based on videogames more or less arcade and we can say it's a gaming activity. With or without a rig. But when you spend 6 hours a day minimum for 6 months seated as an f1 driver, having >1000 hours on the game, suffering elbows and back pains and going over 180bpm heartbeat during a quali lap then we can easily say , at this level : it's a sport and mentally a really tough one.
