is it possible to upgrade an ooooooold @GeekDesk controller (we're talkin' 2013?) to one with memory? Or is that something the motor / unit would have to support? Anyone done this?
Been a stander for 8 years. When you need to take a break from standing, either get a fancy elevating desk, or just take your laptop to the kitchen table or a sofa for a bit. Or just walk away entirely.

@WadeWegner Hi Wade! Lubrication of the legs: geekdesk.com/downloads/pdfs…. Also, tightening the various bolts, esp. lower crossbar and where the arms attach.
I've gone 5 years with my desk, and come up with odd creative ways for cable management.
Only to find out recently there HAS BEEN a cord tray for my specific desk out from the manufacturer

@cordblomquist Hi Cord! Thank you for your tweet, and yes, you can use a little white lithium grease to lubricate the legs. That should help keep the legs functioning without the loud noise. If you need some oil, let me know.
