Yeah we always use dvc rental store and I was having issues finding anything in August for a week in a studio. Reached out to them and they said they had bay lake tower for a week august going into September…not the best for us but not a deal breaker. Hope it comes through as they need to reschedule out to still but seems like they’re confident in it this time. Their website feels cumbersome to me although it’s gotten somewhat better over the years.

Trying to secure bay lake tower on a rental. Cross your fingers y’all. Deposit paid but nothing is final yet. We had the poly pulled out from under us earlier this week on a steal of a deal. The summer savings deals were not the best for our dates in comparison nor the AP discounts.

@scottxavier @TSA Yeah we had a doozy of an interaction at MCO with the TSA. Seems like lack of training is an ongoing issue, as well as professionalism.

@TSA please train your staff. My diabetic medical device can not go through a millimeter wave evolve sensors. No one should be berated nor a supervisor called because I want to get a swab and metal detector as in pre check

@Savethedmagic Just wait until you see the inside of the Tomorrowland….they seem to rarely be up to par.

The cleanliness of Tomorrowland in MK isn’t great. Lots of high areas aren’t being cleaned as in years past. COP sign on the people-mover track has something on it. Dried dirt puddles, etc. Dirts there if you just look up.

@NickChaps96 I had kept all of my tickets including the cardstock tickets from before I stayed on property that had the different characters on them. Sadly lost them at some point moving. I had a couple monorail co-pilot licenses with them as well.

MagicBands are convenient and cool, but I do miss the old school Key to the World cards . They were so awesome. It was always fun to pick them up at check in and the design was so cool. I have a giant collection from past trips I need to find.

Yeah I was so excited for new Star Wars stuff. So much so I named my dogs Rey and Finn. Then it was being force fed nearly constantly to us. Still love Rise of the resistance and Star tours though.

Disney has completely over saturated the brand (same with marvel) and I gave up on trying to keep up. Still love the original trilogy though.

@GeyserPointDad @disneygirlmomx2 Staying at Bay Lake Tower was so cool. Our villa looked out over the pool to the lake. I felt like such a big shot. 😀

Did not realize I would be able to see Everest from Bay Lake Tower. It was hard to make out until I zoomed in with my phone.

Even with my love of the boathouse I have never done an amphicar tour. It’s on the bucket list.

Not sure I’d go first night as it’ll be plagued with media. However it is very fun but it depends what you are looking for. The shows, fireworks, and parade are really great. You should go at least once in your life. We may end up going this year but not sure how the kiddos will do since they’re accustomed to early bedtimes (as are mom and dad haha)
