Two years ago, during my detention which lasted 47 days, my hands were tied behind my back and I was forced to keep my head bent down toward my knees for long hours during transport in military vehicles… more than 8 hours of pain and helplessness. That wasn’t enough—they also beat me with sticks on my shoulder and back. After my release, I went through a two-month treatment journey between medication and physical therapy until the pain disappeared… or so I thought. Five days ago, the pain returned to the same area, but this time it is much worse. It doesn’t respond to painkillers, muscle relaxants, or even massage sessions. The pain is increasing day by day, to the point where I can barely lift my arm or hold anything with my right hand. What I am going through is not an individual case… there are tens of thousands suffering in silence, between undiagnosed injuries, neglected pain, and a system that does not provide even the minimum level of care. What happened to me was not just a moment that passed… it is an ongoing impact, a wound that reopens every time I think it has healed. The occupation is responsible for this pain… responsible for everything we suffer, both physically and mentally. Pray for my recovery… and for justice and freedom for all of us. محمد میڈیکل کالج میر پور خاص میں ایم بی بی ایس تھرڈ ایئر کی طالبہ فہمیدہ لغاری کی المناک موت نے غم و غصے کو جنم دیا ہے اور تعلیمی اداروں کے اندر احتساب کے مطالبات کی تجدید کی ہے۔ یہ خودکشی نہیں بلکہ قتل ہے، فہمیدہ لغاری نے مبینہ طور پر اساتذہ کی طرف سے ہراساں کیے جانے کے بعد اپنی جان لے لی، یہ ایک انتہائی پریشان کن واقعہ ہے جس نے بہت سے لوگوں کو ہلا کر رکھ دیا ہے، ایک نوجوان عورت جو کبھی دوسروں کو ٹھیک کرنے کی خواہش رکھتی تھی اس نے اپنی ہی جان لے لی۔ فہمیدہ لغاری محمد میڈیکل کالج کی پوزیشن ہولڈر طالبہ تھیں، جنہیں وہاں کے اساتذہ عابد لغاری اور عبد اللہ مسلسل ہراساں کرتے رہے، ایک پیشہ ور ڈاکٹر طالبہ کے ساتھ تعلیمی ادارے کے اندر ایسا سلوک ہونا حکومتی اور ادارہ جاتی نظام کے منہ پر طمانچہ ہے، تعلیمی اداروں میں بھی ہماری بچیاں محفوظ نہیں ہیں۔ فہمیدہ لغاری کا انتقال صرف ایک کیس نہیں ہے یہ ایک ایسے بڑے مسئلے کی عکاسی کرتا ہے جس کا سامنا طلباء کو ہو سکتا ہے جو خاموشی سے شکار ہو رہے ہوں، پوری قوم کو شفاف تحقیقات اور ذمہ داروں کے خلاف سخت کارروائی کا مطالبہ کرنا چاہیے۔ صرف 5 فیصد بچیاں تعلیمی اداروں تک پہنچتی ہیں، جن میں سے بھی کئی بچیاں درندہ صفت لوگوں کا شکار بن جاتی ہیں، کچھ اپنی تعلیم بچانے کے لیے یہ ظلم برداشت کرتی رہتی ہیں، کچھ تعلیم چھوڑ کر گھروں میں بیٹھ جاتی ہیں، جبکہ کچھ ڈاکٹر فہمیدہ لغاری کی طرح ہراسگی کا شکار ہو کر اپنی زندگی کا چراغ بجھا دیتی ہیں۔ اداروں کی انتظامیہ اور اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرز اس طرح کے معاملات کو اس لیے دبا دیتے ہیں تاکہ ادارے کی ساکھ برقرار رہے، فہمیدہ لغاری کے لیے انصاف اور طلبا کے لیے محفوظ جگہوں کو یقینی بنانے کا مطالبہ ہے، جہاں عزت، احترام اور تحفظ پر سمجھوتہ نہ کیا جائے۔
