@nessaave They aren’t connected with each other at all which is nice, so each game has its own plot and characters! The only universal things are the currency, chocobos, moogles, and summons (but in XVI it’s eikons which I loved)
I highly recommend XVI! But there’s many that are amazing

Every time I try to give Cyberpunk another chance I drop the game at the Braindance tutorial. Watching paint dry is more exciting.

@idonotexistelol Yeah the first puzzle that got everyone stumped literally has step by step instructions at the bottom of the screen. The shitty controls on day 1 were the only frustrating part of it but now that’s fixed too.

I am absolutely not seeing the "game doesn't hold your hand at all" aspect in crimson desert. There's literally markers for every quest I've done so far. This is not a bad thing but good lord these journalists are even stupider than we thought. It semi- hand holds

@timbutterly Steam deck is old tech. Get a used Ally X for the same price or some other handheld with a Z1e processor, there’s really no reason to go deck in the last couple years. You’ll be disappointed because it is NOT as good as people online pretend it is.

@Maliykus I’ve only played the intro so far but some npc’s get this high tech shimmer thing and kind of disappear after you talk to them in the story so I’m leaning towards yes there’s some simulation/way higher level technology thing actually going on. No clue though

There is a TRAIN in Crimson Desert. You can climb onto the train and travel the world as well.

@grownvie @rotciVArt Even if resident evil 9 cost 100 million to make (it didn’t but I can’t find a real number) it made more profit in its first week than RDR2. Red dead’s 720 million in the first week vs its budget of 540 million. Sure it’s been out for 8 years but capcom’s model obviously works.

This is confirmed true. Holy crap. Previously the F-15’s had a perfect record, now three of them cooked because of ineptitude.
