@FollowedByFeds2 Accelerationism at the end of the day is 98% of the time a gae loser strategy. The other 2% of cases where it might be valid & applicable are not what most self proclaimed accelerationists are advocating for. I wouldnt trust these same people to know how to hammer a nail properly

There's a genuine lack of maturity in the accelerationist way of thinking. Telling people to elect those who openly mock, ridicule, and hate you while lacking a fundamental understanding or respect for nuance because their absolutisms aren't fulfilled has become a mainstream way of thinking. I can't help but realize there is a trend among these utterly raped caricatures of young adult men and eternally scorned, unattractive, and poorly aging unmarried women. This is the result of little to no real world experience, susceptibility to platitudes, lack of ownership for one's inability to execute, and a terminal mindset focused on "aktually" argumentation and chimp outs. There are no personal convictions of pragmatism upon which a foundation is laid, there is a sense of victimhood and weakness for which the individual lacks the moral fortitude to acknowledge and challenge, and there is this LARPy mindset that "It's only gonna get worse brother, and when it does, we will fight back! Just two more weeks of enabling it and we will rise from the collapse like a phoenix!" In reality, these people simply cannot be convinced that the bleak fish-tank in which they choose to live is not factuality. They do not want to challenge the systems by participating in it at a micro level, but rather expect it all to be solved at the macro scale. It is much easier to complain when you don't get instant gratification than to zoom out and ask the questions as to *why* the solutions are not immediate. There's a sense of security and convenience in throwing a hissy-fit and begging for total annihilation with this whimsical belief that "rebuilding after the collapse" is actually an option. It's almost as though they've adopted the campaign slogan of "Build Back Better" as their justification for total capitulation and wishful thinking that the side that is 50% or even 75% aligned with their own views can be whipped to 100% by choosing the opposite side that is 0% aligned with their desired outcome. I remember when I was much younger and my own father told me to grow up, stop, complaining, ano go change what I didn't like in my life. You wouldn't be rewarded if you didn't at least make an attempt at it. I've failed schooling before, failed at starting a business in my early 20's, was forced to pay my own way through college after flunking the first time, but I never once did not find some type of reward in my failures. In fact, just the mere attempts were enough to impress those who had succeeded where I had failed and led to more opportunities. In politics, when you actually learn the mechanisms of government and realize that you can "sometimes just do things" how little effort it really takes. Often people will be amazed or dumbfounded when at the micro level, you challenge the status quo. Whether it be a board of commissioners meeting, a township board meeting, or even confronting a state legislator: they tend not to know how to react when an issue so easily addressed or they themselves are put in the spotlight and challenged. More people see it and realize, "wow, that guy is doing a thing!" and almost immediately back you up just because you put your face or your voice on an issue that they much preferred to bitch and moan about. It's really not hard to not be a little bitch. In fact, it's exhausting to be around. Mockery is great and it's fun. Trolling and shitposting should be a sport. But when your mindset is trapped in kvetchery and a terminal state of defeat and unfilled petulance, you've lost the hearts and minds of those who actually just do things. Pic related.

@heraldoftiding5 The only thing I can guess here is a mass Twitter block tool. I’ve heard that these things can be tweaked so they will mass auto block all followers of whatever user you choose. Second hand info so grain of salt here
