And then a year later he took two tires to Rusty's four tires and still beat him. He was a king and taking less tires than everybody else and winning

@jeff_gluck Wasn't good or bad it was just ok, we need a 3rd option. A car that supposedly ran out of gas fell way back, suddenly got more fuel in the tank and passed the leader. Hit the wall in OT, fell bus lengths back, still caught the leader and passed him like he was standing still.

I'm a Elliott fan, cuz I think he's as close to the old school as this new generation gets, but let's be real having his last name has helped him a lot too.

@nascar_opinion It has little to do with prices; It has everything to do with NASCAR leadership turning its back to the traditional fans and destroying the culture that was NASCAR. The events have very little engagement, the cars are boring and participants are elitists.

At this point how do you simply not lower ticket prices for select races? People dont want to pay $80+ for tickets. The tracks make most of their money off of the TV deal. So get people to the track & save them some cash.

@nascar_opinion It's also the start times. Starting so late has eliminated the working man driving in Sunday and out Sunday afternoon. Work Monday. However with this format and car you could start at noon for $30 and it would not help a lot.
