@brownteaming It’s always a skills issue when the Claude bros come out from their hiding
English

@HackingDave New handle just dropped “ Dave “ skills issue” Kennedy

Man… I can definitely be wrong and I’m totally fine being wrong. Means I’m learning. Folks that try to argue this have never built a model, don’t understand how it works, don’t actually use it for hardcore enterprise solutions… and they try to become “thought leaders”. I want Claude to be amazing, I was like the most die hard Claude user on Opus 4.6 - so polar to Claude versus OpenAI.
What they are doing right now is a travesty. Completely unethical in all regard. Someone has to call them out. It’s not just me either, the really brilliant folks out there see it too. Anthropic cannot be trusted - at all - under any capacity.
English

Saw this earlier and didn't know what to say - I honestly can't believe someone tried to make that argument against you 😂
You've been my canary in the coal mine on Claude, GPT etc because you're hypersensitive to the models behavior. If he wants to talk skills: Timeline OSINT probably would have shown you building NightBeacon and stacking Sparks at home and H100's in the office....
English

@nano11bravo These folks are like a cult .. the crypto bros from a few years ago are now AI exports that have never built a model, don’t understand anything - but sound cool

Sooooo Mythos is basically gpt 5.5 but it was so dangerous it could create an apocalypse with nuclear weapons and rip through computer systems as we know it today
🤔
Polymarket@Polymarket
NEW: Anthropic claims the capability cited by the U.S. in restricting Fable 5 is already widely available from other models, including OpenAI’s GPT-5.5.
English

@HackingDave not getting the capability out of gpt5.5 is their skill issue
English

@Justin_Halford_ I’ve used unrestricted mythos - and it’s marginally better. Biggest difference is memory and recall. Good read, not a skills issue bro but nice try 🤣🤣🤣

@HackingDave I used it for technical flows and it was unequivocally better. Not even close.
If you couldn’t discern it, that’s a skill/taste issue on your part.

I’ve had a number of conversations with folks inside and outside government about the current situation with Anthropic, and here is what I believe to be true:
— As we know, Anthropic publicly released its Mythos class models earlier this week under the commercial name Fable.
— Fable is Mythos with guardrails. But if those guardrails fail, then you’ve exposed Mythos and its advanced cyber capabilities to people who shouldn’t have them. (Keep in mind that Anthropic itself widely promoted the idea that Mythos was a cyberweapon and needed to be regulated as such. They asked for government regulation of Mythos and championed the guardrails on Fable. If there is a vulnerability — big or small — it is Anthropic’s responsibility to patch.)
— A highly credible trusted partner of both Anthropic and the USG who was testing Fable came forward with a jailbreak of those guardrails. The Admin asked Dario to fix the jailbreak or de-deploy the model. Dario refused.
— In their blog post, Anthropic defended its decision by saying the jailbreak isn’t serious. That is not what the trusted partner and the USG believe; nor is that kind of minimizing language consistent with Anthropic’s brand as the AI safety company. It’s difficult to fathom how they could claim a jailbreak allowing operability of a cyber weapon could be defined as not “serious.”
— In the past, Anthropic has always said that safety must be top priority and taken super seriously. In this case, Anthropic prioritized the continued offering of the consumer model over safety.
— In reaction, the Admin issued the export control. The Admin did this reluctantly. It’s been very surprised that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to cooperate with a reasonable safety request (ie fixing the jailbreak issue). Anthropic’s reaction is very much at odds with their branding and ethos as a safe AI research community.
— The Admin’s hope now is that Anthropic remediates the safety issue, the export control is lifted, and Fable goes back into general release. The Admin wants all of this to happen as soon as possible. It is frankly bewildered that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to comply with safety requests that it previously said were its highest priority.
— Those trying to misdirect and tie this action to the prior DoW/Anthropic issues are wrong. The Admin values Anthropic’s technical capabilities and feels that this issue, while serious, should be easily resolved. The ball is in Anthropic’s court.
English

@Justin_Halford_ Yes. SWE benchmarking puts mythos marginally better. It isn’t magical
English

@HackingDave No. The claim is that the specific cited issue is not at the frontier of Mythos’ capabilities/within 5.5’s.
The claim is that 5.5 should also be yanked from availability if this is the concern in question.
English

@TG01_Actual It’s been great zero complaints .. own like 8 at this point 🤣
English

Alright I'm about to buy one of these bad boys. @HackingDave you have more than one right? Assuming that you wouldn't have bought multiples if they were trash, but any gripes/complaints/tips/advice?
English

@vysecurity @HackingDave You do realize very few people will get this, right?
English

@HackingDave @Postsemreh And here I was thinking you had good opinions

The worst candy in the history of mankind is the Runts banana. There is nothing that comes close.
