@chrishollinsTV What a man. Legend. Saw him play at The Bridge way back when and was great to see him coming along to watch you bat!

My hero, best friend and dad left us today. He was so modest but I will say it. He was a great player, brilliant team mate and one hell of a person. My Mum, sister and all his grandchildren will miss him so much.

And…here we go again. Luckily I have just the two ankles. And this one’s all brand new. Looking forward to home and recuperation. Here’s to more mobile times!

There's a tradition of film directors and studios congratulating each other for beating their box office records. A THREAD In 1977, when STAR WARS beat Jaws to become the highest-grossing movie ever, Steven Spielberg took out the below ad for George Lucas in @Variety 1/11

Tried to get this back to its family a few years ago. Failed. Let’s have another go. I assumed mining but maybe it’s trains. Or a bank. Don’t know. The six digit ‘number’ must mean something. Who knows trains? Mines?

@LyndaTLive I'd say you need one in the sense of dressing for the occasion- ie client meeting etc

@legsidelizzy It's the batting which tends to get the headlines but for me, the biggest difference is the pressure applied in the field. Not just allowing the bowlers to do their own thing; keeping mid on and mid off up; using leg slips successfuly; not giving away too many soft runs

Hard to overstate what an achievement that is by England. Yes a weakened Pakistan team but England were almost perfect in how they read and played the conditions.

I came to Madrid to watch @realmadrid because of @viagogo I never got to go to the game. Paid over €500 but 4 hours of calls, emails and distress. Never again.
