@larochecbc I used Twitter for this same recommendation request years ago and someone pointed me to TransMetro Appliance (Google the #) his name is Basil and he’s the best and nicest person. He’s fixed my washer, fridge and dishwasher.

@NerdwithWerds @realfatapollo @hfxtransit It’s a code red for medical emergency but 311 said it’s super hard to track lost items. I am just hoping someone didn’t pocket the device because it’s the hand held device that controls the insulin pump, so kinda looks like a little phone. 🙁

@hfxtransit what are lost and found options after hours? We have a diabetic daughter who left her insulin pump on the #3 inbound around 3:15pm today.

An ad from the late 70s promoting the elusive "Steak King". A toasted steak sub w/ mozza, onions, tomatoes & donair sauce. Lost to history, except at Athens Restaurant! The steak is marinated in lemon & garlic and goes surprisingly well with the donair sauce. A taste of history!
