@sportz_nutt51 I did 65 12-team Fantrax best balls. 14% of all Elly teams are in 1st place. For as good as he's been, that is solidly "good, not great"

@Mags_S20 @Smada_PLive You can add 30-60 minutes to that easy for traffic, especially on Fridays and Sundays. That corridor gets nuts with everyone going to Tahoe and back

No one asked, but my highest share players across 65 Fantrax best ball leagues. Note the lack of early-round players, which I actively tried to keep below 20%. Limiting player concentration risk probably lowers my ceiling but should also raise the floor.

@Smada_PLive Drafting 65 best balls this year and I'm confident I'll win 20-25% of them. I try to win EACH one, but I don't try to win ALL of them; that would be too much player concentration risk.

Do you go into the year confident you will win every redraft league?

@PeepMySlashLine @RotoClegg Not to throw @Mags_S20 under the bus, but he's a good manager so I know he can laugh at it. He had the misfortune of drafting this gem of a staff in a 2023 Fantrax best ball. This team finished dead last out of 948 teams I have data for.

I know I'm not the target demographic, but I don't understand the writing for Paw Patrol. Ostensibly emergency responder dogs, somehow back-to-back episodes have involved finding missing pigs.

@nut_history My two favorite facts: 1) Tom Kelly carrying 9(!) pitchers and 16 hitters on the roster and still running out of sticks, forcing him to pinch hit with his closer in the 12th; and 2) Zubaz! In the dugout!

The 1991 World Series was one for the ages: 1) Four games were won in the final at bat. 2) Five decided by one run 3) 3 extra inning games 4) Kirby Puckett's Game 6 heroics: catch and walk off homer 5) The Game 7 pitching duel for the ages

2023 All-Value Team. Constraints: players selected at or 1 round before ADR. Standard 9OF/17P build. My takeaway? The huge 3,400+ point gap between the theoretical best team and the average league-winner (~11,250 points) means there are practically infinite viable strategies.

Unofficial Best Ball Bonanza final top 10. Thanks to Luzardo's suspended game QS finally getting recorded in the system, I snuck into 2nd!

Updated BBB top 10 with one week left. Unfortunately, I found a formula error causing many of the top scores to be mapped to the wrong teams. Fixed now; fortunately it did not impact the two teams in the lead. Apologies for any confusion!
