This is another race where if you’re a Democrat looking for the best bang for your buck on expanding the Senate map, Peltola in Alaska is worth your investment. S-tier candidate, great national environment, relatively cheap state to run in. Money that will buoy downballot too
Mary Peltola@MaryPeltola

I’m so excited to kick off my village tour! I’ll be in Toksook Bay and Kasigluk today, then St. Mary’s, Pilot Station and Hooper Bay on Friday, and Chevak and Scammon Bay on Saturday. From the Aleutians to the Arctic, I want every Alaskan to be part of this. See you out there!

@ForwardCarolina @WhatleyNC Right. Cooper is arguably the most accomplished Democratic politician in modern North Carolina history, winning seven consecutive statewide contests, several of which during 45/47 Administrations. Going to be challenging for MW to overcome that.

Big problem for @WhatleyNC - no one's heard of him. Question: How much have you heard about Michael Whatley, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senator from North Carolina? Great deal/Somewhat: 35% Only a little: 31% Nothing at all: 33% Even among Republicans, a majority - 53% - say they've heard "only a little/nothing at all" about their party's U.S. Senate candidate. By contrast, 70% of all respondents say they've heard a "great deal/somewhat" about @RoyCooperNC.
Carolina Forward@ForwardCarolina

Aaaaand here it is from @ElonPoll: the third consecutive great poll for @RoyCooperNC, and brutal numbers in here for @WhatleyNC. Elon does not do head-to-head questions anymore. Instead, they asked: "Which party do you want to control the U.S. Senate after the 2026 elections?" 🔵Democrats: 40% 🔴Republicans: 35% ⚪️Neither/Unsure: 25% 🔵COOPER NET FAVORABILITY: (+13) 🔴WHATLEY NET FAVORABILITY: (-8) 🔴TRUMP NET JOB APPROVAL: (-20) 🔵STEIN NET JOB APPROVAL: (+16) 🔴NC STATE LEGISLATURE NET JOB APPROVAL: (-16) Conducted by @YouGov March 13-20, 2026. N=800 NC adults, MoE=4.4%.

@lukemaciastx Endorsement speaks volumes. Now it remains to be seen if this translates to success this May. Polymarket still has Paxton ~mid 60s. And the two are largely knotted up with ~$4-5M COH in latest FEC filings. Going to be a bloodbath just to meet JT in November.

In this year's US Senate elections, Democrats need to hold all their current Senate seats (which includes Georgia) and gain four more from this list.

The number to watch: Peltola's first FEC filing. She raised $1.5M on day one. Her Senate committee is registered but has filed zero financial data. Sullivan has $4.8M raised and $5.8M cash on hand. When Peltola's numbers drop, we'll know whether the money matches the momentum.
