Eating moderate cholesterol is good. The right panel, cholesterol is highest in the blood when it is lowest in the diet. And left panel cholesterol is lowest in the tissue when there is a moderate amount of cholesterol in the diet (0.05 to 0.1%). Taken from Angel and Farkas, J. Lipid Research 1974.

🇨🇳 A Chinese EV just broke Bugatti's all-time speed record. 308 mph on a battery. The Chiron held that record for 6 years with a 1,600 hp W16 and BYD cleared it with 4 electric motors. The crown is Chinese now.

Government insures beach houses! That’s just reckless. As I reported years ago, it encourages idiots like me to do foolish things-- like build homes near rivers and oceans. Finally, one senator, @RandPaul, wants to limit this handout:

I hate to say it… But I’m struggling to be generous after all the fraud we’ve seen. There’s so few charities I trust now. I do a deep dive on a homeless charity… oh look, my tax dollars are funding that and it’s run by a Trump-hating Leftist. A Christian charity? Oh look, they’re helping illegal aliens. An education nonprofit? Oh look, it’s getting money from Left-wing political groups to send in Democrat activists to give lectures on LGBTQ oppression. Even my TAX DOLLARS I know are being used to fund some BS non-profit that probably has me on a list somewhere as an extremist and is actively trying to cancel me. It’s hard to be generous when I’m already being generously stolen from in taxes and when even the nonprofits aren’t actually solving the problems they reportedly exist to solve.

@mattvanswol It’s illegal for a non profit to be political. If they are political, they are supposed to lose their non profit status.

@XFreeze Starlink is ruining the night sky. 5000 pieces of space junk. They are proposing 30,000 pieces of space junk. We don't need it. Add in the CO2 from all the launches. I think Undugu from Botswana can live without Starlink.

Most people have not even realized it yet, but Starlink just quietly became the invisible backbone of Earth For decades, high-speed internet was a luxury of geography. If you lived outside a major city or dared to travel, you had no choice but to be disconnected from the world We literally went from "can you hear me now?" dropped calls in the suburbs to you move anywhere in the world and you are covered by Starlink internet Just look at what SpaceX has achieved so far: → Free, high-speed WiFi rolling out on thousands of flights, trains, and ships → Now officially live in over 150+ countries, territories, and global markets → Direct-to-Cell tech is turning standard smartphones into sat-phones with zero extra hardware → Flawless high-speed internet streaming in the middle of Antarctica → Serving as a critical lifeline for first responders and victims during major natural disasters → Providing unbreakable comms in active warzones and geopolitical conflicts → More than 11 MILLION+ active subscribers globally as of early 2026 → Eliminating dead zones entirely - if you can see the sky, you can connect "I think the single biggest thing you can do to lift people out of poverty and help them is giving them an internet connection because once you have the internet connection, you can learn anything for free on the internet, and you can also sell your goods and services to the global market" — Elon Musk While legacy telecom providers are still struggling to lay cables in the dirt, SpaceX is actively building humanity’s collective nervous system in Low Earth Orbit SpaceX is showing the world what it actually means to be connected on a magnitude we never thought possible

@nickofnz Only the spot price for renewable energy when the wind is blowing. That’s what big business, is paying. Everybody else’s bill includes the cost when the wind isn’t blowing. Their bills have doubled.

BOOM! South Australia's power prices have plummeted as they near 100% renewables, proving to the world that relying on wind and solar with battery back-up is possible, more reliable and costs people less. THIS is how we avoid the next oil crisis. #EnergyRevolution

American has $197,000 in student loans The interest rate is 5.12%, which means she is accruing about $10,086 of interest every single year on her student loans That’s $840 a month just in interest just to break even without paying anything on the loan “It feels so crushing” Student loans in America are predatory. Americans cannot pay these back and they’ll be trapped in debt forever

How did @nayibbukele “flip the switch” and make El Salvador the safest country on the continent? The short answer: he didn’t. There was no “switch.” Bukele only declared the War on Gangs once he knew he could win it within weeks. But to get there, it took years. Part 1 of 4:

Here is an illustration of the trajectory the Orion Capsule is following and what the rendezvous & flyby of the moon will look like from an orbital mechanics point of view, relative to the earth.

Quick update on the progress of @NASAArtemis II mission as the Orion Capsule & 4 Astronauts near the close rendezvous & flyby of the moon! It is important to note that for this mission, the Orion capsule & crew will not enter lunar orbit, rather they will do a flyby around the far side of the moon (from the perspective of Earth) and then continue on their path back to the earth on what is called a free-return trajectory. This is different from what we saw during the Apollo 8 mission which 1st brought humans to the moon back in 1968. So, what can you expect, when will the lunar close “flyby” begin, & how long will it last? Good question! The average Earth to moon distance is ~384,400 km (~238,855 miles) … the @NASAArtemis II closest flyby point to the moon will be ~ 6,400 to 9,650 km (~4,000 to 6,000 miles) & this will occur on the far side of the moon from the perspective of the Earth … this may also break the Apollo 13 record for the farthest humans have travelled from the Earth The lunar sphere of influence (SOI), where the moons gravity begins to dominate over the Earth’s gravity is about at a 66,000 km (~41,000 mile) radius from the Moon’s center The Earth/moon L1 point (where gravitational pulls balance, along the line connecting centers) is about 58,000 km (~36,000 miles) from the moon … another way to look at this is the distance is about 85% of the way from the Earth to the moon & this happens so close to the moon because the Earth is so much more massive! The Orion capsule & crew enters the moon’s SOI around 12:41 AM EDT (0541 UTC) on April 6 The close lunar flyby happens on Monday, April 6, 2026, with the closest approach occurring around 7:02 PM EDT (~ 0002 UTC on 7 April) & will simultaneously be the closest approach to the lunar surface & the farthest distance from the Earth It is important to note that there is an expected communications blackout (loss of signal) when the Orion capsule passes behind the Moon’s far side, blocking radio contact with Earth … this starts at about 6:47 EDT (2347 UTC) and will last about 40 to 41 minutes The entire close flyby lasts about 6 to 7 hours and will end at about 9:20 PM EDT (0220 UTC) Finally, the Orion capsule will exit the moon’s SOI early on 7 April, inexorably picking up speed as it gets closer and closer to the Earth for a planned splashdown on Friday, 10 April So, the next 24 or so hours will be pretty exciting with all kinds of imagery and crew reactions coming in via live streams, including one by @Ellieinspace starting at 13:00 PM EDT (1800 UTC)

@SenWarren If you tax Bezoa 7B the cost of insulin and school lunches will go up and your friends in big pharma will get rich, but the people will get nothing but more expensive healthcare. It’s basic economics.

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.
