There was no medical insurance or safety support explained while taking the loan. When a student’s health fails, humanity should come before policies. Sadly, my experience showed that once the loan is processed, empathy disappears. Sharing this for awareness.

When my health and finances collapsed, I requested course cancellation and submitted all medical reports and resignation proof. @scaler_official refused cancellation and only offered a 6-month pause, while insisting EMIs must continue. Due to financial crisis, I couldn’t pay EMIs

The course fee was ₹3,40,000. I paid ₹20,000 upfront, and the remaining amount was converted into a personal loan. I was not clearly informed that this loan would be through a third-party lender (Fibe). I paid EMIs of ~₹13,000 for 11 months without issue.

I’m a working software professional who joined Scaler while doing a full-time job. Due to work + @scaler_official curriculum, I spent ~16 hrs/day on my laptop and developed severe neck & back pain, which later forced me to resign.
