@BradonSl@BeckBronson62@amelia_tweetz The wealthy and fortunate christen themselves “bold” and “worthy” - makes it easier to live with the wealth inequality I guess. Eg Trump - born into wealth… business dealings failed to match the returns of a market tracker… leveraged anti-immigration sentiment to become potus
@HarrisJames@BeckBronson62@amelia_tweetz Fair, I gave you the mode but even still more people will likely result in lower middle number.
America is capitalist country. Fortune favors the bold, not just the existing.
What’s the immigration status of the top countries in your chart? Is it open to anyone?
Watching the World Cup has me asking questions. Do Europeans get issued 8 weeks of vacation, unlimited airline miles, and a trust fund at birth? Because every match I turn on there are 40,000 fans following their team to a different state or country on a Tuesday afternoon while Americans are hiding in a work bathroom checking scores.
@HarrisJames@BeckBronson62@amelia_tweetz My guy, we also have wayyyyy more people than these small countries.
Bigger denominator, lower median. It’s literally just math. Very basic math
@BeckBronson62@amelia_tweetz Bless your heart. I can sense that you’re trying.
What I posted is neither GDP, nor Income. My point is - the median European is empirically (look it up) wealthier than the median American. Despite your strange fetish for no work life balance
@amelia_tweetz Amelia, it's why Europe's economy has languished since WWII and the USA has become a juggernaut. Euro's don't think twice about taking a month+ off from work (and they can!) and touring the US for soccer. I've has two 2 week vacas in 30 yrs of service-no complaints but why US #1
Billionaires only have wealth because of their unethical exploitation of the middle, working & poor classes. Their exploitation of people kills them. So it’s not unethical for those classes to laugh when billionaires die
