#BREAKING: Big move by Govt inside NTA. National Testing Agency has terminated 47 officials from their service. Legal and criminal actions will also be taken against some of these officials. This is part of a complete overhaul of NTA that has been in controversy over paper leaks.

If creators of Instagram think they can get away from all the Tamasha done on streets of Delhi. You are mistaken. Yesterday someone was abusing Indian Army and forces. He reached his home at 7:17 pm without any fear. Then a door bell rang at 10:28 PM. The creator realised he was in big trouble. Parents apologised. Creator cried and posted an apology video. End of the story 🇮🇳

Every protest has an objective. When it is peaceful and remains within the bounds of law, it is a legitimate democratic expression. The role of the police is to facilitate, regulate, and ensure that peace is maintained. But when a protest turns into confrontation, violence, or serves extraneous interests, it ceases to be merely a protest—it becomes a law-and-order challenge. At that point, the police are duty-bound to act, in accordance with the law and the evolving situation, to restore order. The primary duty of the police is to protect life, safeguard property, prevent escalation, and restore normalcy as quickly as possible. Police accountability is essential in a democracy. Legitimate inquiries into police action have their place. However, making every operational decision the subject of routine inquiry can create hesitation and unpredictability in law enforcement, especially during rapidly evolving situations. Equally, police leadership must ensure that any use of force is lawful, necessary, proportionate, and exercised with utmost restraint. The purpose of policing is never to punish, teach a lesson, or seek revenge. It is to uphold the rule of law, protect citizens, and restore peace.

There is a dividing line between maintaining law and order and vengeance-filled and targeted violence to only wound and crush young protesters. @DelhiPolice crossed that lakshman rekha. I have covered hundreds of riots and protests as a reporter. I haven’t seen this level of brute force even in Kashmir. Why on earth were tear-gas shells used? Why were youngsters hit and slapped? There is an unverified video of a man with pellet gun wounds, which Delhi Police has denied. Like always, there were rioting elements that had infiltrated the crowds and attacked the police. That is unacceptable and they should be identified and prosecuted. Attacks on the police are a criminal act and must be punished in an exemplary manner. But we can clearly see that the overwhelming majority of students were peacefully protesting and yet were beaten mercilessly. Any right-thinking person can see that rather than calling the entire assembly violent. If the claim is that this is the normal way the police force of India’s capital handles crowds, this is a training failure and a shame. If this is not normal, then this is a premeditated attack on the assembled youth — with a determination to teach them a lesson. #StudentProtests

Arnab makes a terrific point - that he is following social media marketing companies and there’s a money trail. Influencers with <100k followers are being paid 40-50k per reel and 30k per story. Their books should be examined. Should be brought under PMLA.

Heart goes out to NEET Aspirants and Student community across India who feel cheated and want transparency and accountability. Peaceful protest is a right. But stone pelting, violence and vandalism is not the way to protest. Nor a violent regime change or attacking journalists.
