It’s not that simple. Sanchez has flaws, especially with consistency, but he’s also made big saves and kept Chelsea in games this season. The issue is bigger than just him, the whole defensive setup and lack of stability behind him. So while upgrading in goal might be needed long-term, it’s not just a “get rid immediately” situation.

@Codey64168440 @ConnCFC Nunez was dogshit for Liverpool but Salah was dogshit for us so you never know.

@ConnCFC Problem is there’s PL experience who’ll help us compete for titles then there’s PL experience that improve us at the margins but not transformationally. Nunez has PL experience but struggled in the prem. Senesi has PL experience for Bournemouth, Van Ecke Brighton.

Looks like Chelsea are doubling down on signing proven PL players this summer. I’ll say it again, us fans will believe it when we see it. Actions speak louder than words.
