fairly effective opening its kinda boring that for the intro its just different Avatars it also feels weird that Aang and Zuko took stolen land and was like "it's actually for EVERYONE now" instead of just giving back to who they stole it from and finding somewhere else

Bending of course evolves but to sub element bend they stated multiple times you almost need to be gifted like pure skill. You simply cant teach someone metalbend. Toph was able to do it because heightened senses cuz of blindness.
