6'9 F Peyton Gerald, one of the best D2 bigs in the COUNTRY, tells me he has entered the transfer portal. Together with Alex Steen (transferred to Florida State), Gerald formed arguably the best frontcourt in D2 for a 26-9 Florida Southern team, averaging (in conference): • 15.1 PPG • 6.3 RPG • 2.0 BLK + 1.6 STL • 53.9% FG Gerald was the ONLY player in all of D2 basketball to have averaged at least 15 PPG, 6 RPG, 2 BLK, & 1.5 STL in conference play. He's a long, uber athletic stretch big with some real skill as a perimeter ball handler and off the dribble creator. As a defender, his length, athleticism, and elite reflexes made him one of the most disruptive defenders in D2.
