Sam Darnold had taken 26 bad sacks this season and 17 that were not his fault. 4.5% of his dropbacks ended in a sack that was his fault. Average amongst starters is 2.4%. Darnold has a C- pocket awareness grade. This is exactly who Darnold always was. He's just got nice arm talent when clean.

Even with the bad interception, if Sam Darnold could manage his pocket even remotely decently a little bit, he would actually be playing well. The problem is that he is displaying the worst pocket awareness I have ever seen in my life. Matt Stafford started off stellar, but then faded off a little bit.
