Last week, members of the IL Section, along with members of St. Louis and Central Illinois Sections, represented Illinois at the 2022 Legislative Fly-In and Policy Week—ASCE’s first ever hybrid fly-In, to advocate for infrastructure priorities and the civil engineering community.

Last week, the Illinois and St. Louis Sections of ASCE partnered with ACEC-IL for a successful Legislative Lobby Day in Springfield, Illinois! Meaningful conversations were had with 11 State legislators, in addition to the IDOT Secretary of Transportation.

Illinois Section ASCE’s Student Outreach Committee completed its Scholarship Visit tour at UIC on Thursday of #EngineersWeek. This year, we are offering 13 awards, totaling $17,500! The deadline to apply is March 14th. Application can be found here: buff.ly/35fbHyw
