Let's try this again. Universe of Energy, a 🧵 I wanted to do this because I really think Universe of Energy was the most underrated EPCOT pavilion, no thanks to an underwhelming 1996 rehab that overstayed its welcome. The actual substance of the attraction's content besides the Dinosaur diorama was nothing to look back on. But everything else, the complexity of the ride system and effort behind show quality is captivating. Opening day attraction, 1982. It was actually one of the first structures to go vertical along with Spaceship Earth.

My best guess is they are creating a pad for the white ALS (there's one in the picture) to sit on as a control booth for the pyro show. Also worth noting the other two that are due to be installed on Monsters and Potter have moved #epicuniverse

Aerial look at the Epic Universe fireworks launch peninsula. Trees in foreground planted over the past several weeks. They seem to have irrigation lines. Note the activity top left. Best pic I have of it. Surprising site work.

@Imagineer6 It’s not EPCOT’s font, most of the glyphs are completely different. Especially noticeable in the A, N, and Gs.

@rankingthemouse Just because Dinosaur is closed doesn't mean there's less people coming to Animal Kingdom. Those guests who would normally be swallowed up by that attraction are now trying to get into everything else, so those 3 rides are much higher priority for everyone

@rankingthemouse When there are less rides overall, the remaining become more valuable due to artificial scarcity. They can't simply limit the amount of LL they sell, the price must go up otherwise it will be sold out entirely by hotel guests, before non-resort guests have a chance to book any
