@tobyblaq @Big_marvis You're confusing export earnings with GDP. Oil funds government budgets but is <8% of total GDP. The real economy runs on non-oil sectors like manufacturing & services. Also, Lagos is an oil producer & holds the biggest refinery.
English

@Big_marvis Lmaoo….idiots everywhere. Oil accounts for 90 percent of your total export earnings, without it, you're finished. The economy is heavily dependent on oil, now I ask, which oil is Lagos or Ogun producing? The SS region has been the backbone funding everything, you best know that
English

If Lagos and Ogun State cease to exist today
1 - 40% of Nigeria's GDP is gone.
2 - 70% of FDI? Gone
3 - 80% of Banking and financial services? Gone
4 - 60% of manufacturing? Gone
5 - 55% of Nigeria's VAT? Gone
6 - 90% of tech companies? Gone
7 - 65% of Nigeria's Industries? Gone
8 - 70% of warehouses? Gone
9 - 80% of your port activity? Gone
10 - 40% of economic activity? Gone
If they just stopped existing, Nigeria literally becomes Djibouti with crude oil.
May Nigeria win🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

English

@Big_marvis Lagos+Ogun is ~15% of GDP, not 40%. High VAT & banking numbers reflect the HQ effect: companies file taxes in Lagos, but the value is generated by consumers nationwide. They are an economic powerhouse, but hyperbole isn't data.
English

@Eaglekiel Oga, rest. He is a product of the educational system, he completed his primary and secondary schooling and could still attend university if he chose to. Just because we reward a 'nuisance' with attention doesn't mean we are forbidden from scrutinizing a public figure.
English

@Sistaliano If you are evaluating the performance of a government, it is more effective to look at the actual, completed infrastructure on the ground rather than dividing total project budgets by unit counts, as the latter rarely reflects the reality of engineering and civil project costs.
English

@Sistaliano That price tag, if it appears in a document, is almost certainly the cost for a broader "package" that includes installation, electrical grid integration (if hybrid), security, and long-term maintenance across a specific district.
English

After Governor Seyi Makinde's tenure is over, I won't be surprised if the EFCC picks him up
Now, before you say Tinubu is the one behind it, just take a look at this.
Read this BREAKDOWN to the end and judge for yourself.
1. Oyo State Government approved the installation of 1,300 solar-powered streetlights FOR ₦28 billion.
2. Lagos State Government approved the installation 22,000 solar-powered streetlights FOR ₦24 billion.
—Oyo State: ₦28 billion ÷ 1,300 streetlights = about ₦21.54 million per streetlight
—Lagos State: ₦24 billion ÷ 22,000 streetlights = about ₦1.09 million per streetlight
That means:
—Oyo's reported cost per streetlight is about 19.7 times the Lagos figure.
—Or put differently, Oyo's unit cost is about ₦20.45 million more per streetlight than Lagos's.
How can anyone buy just one solar-powered streetlight for ₦21.5 million?
How is that even possible?

English

@Pathfinder077 In a democracy, power is earned, not inherited. Challenging a sitting president is a fundamental right, not an act of delusion. History shows transitions are possible; viewing political ambition through a lens of permanence ignores the core of our system.
English

@Big_marvis Your call to "interrogate the past" is ironic because you’re ignoring the actual record. Obi didn’t just make promises; he rebuilt a collapsing system. When you look at the data, not the rhetoric, you see a leader who knows how to fix broken institutions.
English

@Big_marvis Calling the return of schools to missions "privatization" is a dishonest framing. These were stolen assets returned to their original owners to restore sanity. The State kept paying salaries and funding operations. It was a rescue mission, not a sell-off.
English

Most Nigerians do not interrogate the past of our politicians when they speak to us. If Atiku promises you stable electricity, you should interrogate his past by asking him how, judging by his past inability to do so. If Peter Obi promises you affordable or free education, you should ask him if He made education free to the Anambra people by transfering public schools to the private hands.
I was moved to make this post whlen I saw a video of Obi addressing a group of policemen and women. Obi promised a nation where both the children of the rich and the poor would be attending the same school. I would have given him the benefit of the doubt but I would be foolish not to know that he ruled Anambra for 8 years and he did give the poor that opportunity .
Another fundamental dimension is the role of the federal government in education. The state controls the primary education and the bulk of secondary education. In what way will Mr Peter Obi as a president interfere in those schools owned by the states? Other than the three federal schools in every state, the federal controls no more.
Nigerians should not always listen alone. They should ponder what they hear. This is the best way to make informed decisions. Except we do this, a politician would tell us he would turn pawpaws to children on the trees and we would believe him.

English

@Big_marvis To the claim that a President can't influence state schools: That’s a weak argument. A President sets national tone, policy, and enforces standards via UBEC funds. An active leader doesn't just "interfere", they incentivize states to adopt what actually works.
English

@Big_marvis The claim that the poor were abandoned is debunked by the results: Anambra surged to the #1 spot in WAEC/NECO rankings under Obi. Improving quality is the ultimate empowerment for the poor. Would you rather have free, failing schools or excellence?

TO DADDY FREEZE, KOKOPEE, NEDU, NEOOFFICIAL, SHOLA AND OTHERS DEFENDING PELLER.
Let us stop being INTELLECTUALLY DISHONEST.
Nobody would come for Peller if he simply faced his TIKTOK, did his SKITS, made his MONEY and moved on.
Nobody is angry that he is POPULAR.
Nobody is angry that he is making MONEY.
Nobody is angry that he did not go to the UNIVERSITY.
The problem is that he deliberately started insulting EDUCATED PEOPLE.
He started mocking GRADUATES.
He started humiliating people with MASTER’S DEGREES.
He started laughing at CIVIL SERVANTS.
He started making it look like going to SCHOOL is a waste because Nigeria is dysfunctional enough to underpay EDUCATED PEOPLE.
That is where the problem started.
PELLER INITIATED THE ATTACK.
So stop pretending people woke up one morning and started attacking him for no reason.
He called MASTER’S DEGREE holders for interviews and humiliated them.
Daddy Freeze, I am sure you have worked for people before.
How would you feel if your EMPLOYER invited you for an interview, not to assess you fairly, but to INSULT you and use your condition for CONTENT?
Would you call that COMEDY?
Would you call that SURVIVAL?
Would you clap for it?
That is what this young man has been doing.
And instead of telling him the TRUTH, some of you are massaging his EGO.
Kokopee, Peller is not the first person who did not go to UNIVERSITY and still became successful.
Cosmas Maduka did not follow the conventional university path, but he built COSCHARIS.
Razaq Okoya did not follow the conventional academic path, but he built ELEGANZA.
Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson did not go through university, but he built a serious MANUFACTURING BRAND.
Cletus Ibeto started from BUSINESS and APPRENTICESHIP before building the IBETO GROUP.
How many times have you seen these people gather GRADUATES to humiliate them?
How many times have you seen them mock TEACHERS?
How many times have you seen them insult CIVIL SERVANTS?
How many times have you seen them laugh at MASTER’S HOLDERS and PhD holders?
They did not do that because WISE PEOPLE respect KNOWLEDGE.
Wise people who did not go far in school do not mock EDUCATION.
They understand that society cannot function without TRAINED MINDS.
So Peller should calm down.
He is not the first person to make money without UNIVERSITY.
He is not the first person to survive outside the CLASSROOM.
He is not the first person to become popular without a DEGREE.
But he is choosing to use his own VISIBILITY to insult people who chose a different path.
That is WRONG.
Kokopee, when you say “create something wey work,” create with what?
With which TECHNOLOGY?
The same technology Peller mocks?
The PHONE he uses.
The INTERNET that carries his videos.
The APPS that made him popular.
The CAMERA.
The MICROPHONE.
The BANK APPS.
The PLATFORMS.
All of them came from systems of KNOWLEDGE, RESEARCH, ENGINEERING, SOFTWARE, DESIGN and serious LEARNING.
Do you know how many NIGERIAN STUDENTS can create better things if they are properly FUNDED?
Do you know how many GRADUATES can build serious technology if the system gives them the RESOURCES, LABORATORIES, GRANTS, MENTORSHIP and OPPORTUNITIES they need?
Why is Peller mocking people because a DYSFUNCTIONAL COUNTRY failed to support them properly?
That is not WISDOM.
That is IGNORANCE enjoying government failure.
Kokopee kept mentioning KAI CENAT and ISHOWSPEED.
How many times have you seen Kai Cenat insult people who went to SCHOOL?
How many times have you seen IShowSpeed gather GRADUATES to humiliate them?
They do their CONTENT and move.
They entertain.
They build their AUDIENCE.
They are not constantly trying to prove that EDUCATION is useless.
So why is Peller’s own confidence tied to disrespecting EDUCATED PEOPLE?
That is the question.
Shola, tell him the TRUTH.
Tell him to stop insulting GRADUATES.
Tell him he is not better than them.
English

@Eaglekiel Brands pay for visibility; that’s a transaction, not a legacy. I don’t envy the hustle; I critique the model. Real success leaves behind systems that outlast your hype. If you only build a brand for yourself, you’ve left nothing behind for the next generation. I'm done here.
English

You’re the one still missing the point
Peller’s value is not based on a degree. His value is his audience, influence, consistency, and ability to move attention.
That is why brands, including international platforms like Kick and Stake, can associate with him. They are not signing school certificates, they are signing visibility and engagement.
Education is valuable, but its not the only form of value. Peller found his lane, built his audience, and turned attention into opportunity.
Why should you or anyone then be triggered by his success?
English

Few weeks ago, Remi's husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave 50 Million Naira each to 45 young Nigerians did you see most of those critizing "akara ,kuli kuki"" say anything about it.
Its not a loan ooo, its a free grant to them and you can fact check me if I lie..
Go across their pages, you cant see something about it..
"It take extra ordinary bla bla to support Tinubu government" lol do you think everyone will follow hating or alway be anti government just for political reasons?
When Government do well, you all pretend you didnt notice but when its below your expectation, you run enter social media to vomit gibberish....God is not behing alaboshi ..
So you think these guys family members will follow you hate Government? .
Let me say this, the money Mrs Remi is talking about is not government money, its her NGO funds..
"You are supporting this evil government"..Lol,its your responsibility to see the government as evil if you so want to but its not withing your right to force your opinion of government on me...
They dont want you to talk about good side of government, they are alawys after bad news, bad news all the time.
Hello,we cant all be agent of badnews,I will pray and support the government always ,its Biblical, even if God put you there tomorrow we will support you to succesed ..

I was simply saying:
1. Don’t bully Peller and his partner because you don’t like their contents and relations cos you are more educated. If his platforms and talents can put food on his table, take care of his family and he’s not into any crime, it should not bother you or anyone. He’s not the architect of your problems. If you can’t take anyone talking down on your so called “intellect” why should you get away with talking down on Peller’s talents?
2. Don’t talk down on petty traders who are beneficiaries of a grant by the government or First Lady simply because you hate the people giving them grants. No matter how you see it, the beneficiaries will still make use of the grants and many of them will still produce children they will be proud of cos some of us are products of such petty trades, even without grants.
But these good-for-nothing human beings have been moving mad for 48hours dragging and cursing their fathers. InshaAllah, tomorrow and forever, I go still talk another one and there’s nothing any of your forefathers can do to stop me. If you can’t handle what I say and it bothers you that much, stop me on the road and say it to myself.
Leave social media talks, come offline😂.
English

If not for the fact that this Olodo @PeterObi is nowhere near the political league of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but belongs to a lower category of politicians like Obafemi Hamzat, Sen Olamilekan Adeola and others of similar standing; many would have loved to see Asiwaju engage him in a public debate and permanently expose the emptiness behind the hype.
However, it would be a disservice to serious political discourse for a statesman of Tinubu's calibre to sit across from a man whose statistics are frequently riddled with inaccuracies, whose figures often collapse under scrutiny, and whose arguments are built on flawed logic and weak reasoning.
A debate is meant to be a contest of ideas, facts, vision and intellectual depth not an exercise in correcting endless errors and misleading claims.
The gap between them is simply too wide to make such an encounter intellectually balanced or politically meaningful.

English

@Eaglekiel Stop deflecting. My point wasn’t equating crimes, but exposing the logic: if viral 'traction' is your only metric for merit, then you’re defending a race to the bottom. Fame isn’t value, and loud isn’t intelligent. I'm not jealous or bittered. Peller-ism isn't my calling.
English

Escobar was a criminal, Peller isn't?
Anywhere in the world, entertainment gains more traction than any other sector
If so desire to "Undecay" the culture, maybe you should let the change begin with you and start an "actual value" content.
Until then, you are nothing but a bittered and jealous soul
O dabo!
