@xurbanxcowboyx I see a lot of this discourse since moving to the area, I live in the east bay but one thing never discussed being who these housing projects are built for? Something like that rendering is not for teachers or baristas who commute an hour for their job. Where are their houses?

There's several problems with this line of thinking. First of all, you're ultimately asking for increased costs
Secondly, it doesn't matter how nice new MF projects are -- NIMBYs will choose to find something they hate about it and pretend like it is some unacceptable assault on their honor as a human being
Take the Safeway Marina project in SF -- beautiful project being built in a city that sorely needs housing, but you can find a billion complaints from every direction from boomer NIMBYs who don't like the shadows it casts, or it doesn't fit the "character" of the neighborhood, "we need housing but not that much," etc. etc.
In theory I'd love to have constructive conversations about optimally building new projects for beauty and utility, but sadly once you start allowing for excuses not to build in American cities, they never end

If a high % of the new MF projects developed under YIMBY policies age really badly (bc of thoughtless design, bad materials or constr) it will tarnish the rep of the movement & make it harder to get support for similar policies in the future.

Perhaps Mills realized Maine’s electricity is already some of the most expensive in the country without a meaningful data center presence, and that data centers can help bring down grid costs. Regardless, kudos.

Florida’s unemployment rate is ABOVE the national average and it’s only GROWING. The latest state jobs numbers show we lost over 43k jobs all in critical industries. Florida had one of the worst performing job markets over the past year. Our state needs to stay focused on adding private sector jobs and driving down cost of living — just like President Trump is trying to do across the country.

• Fictitious Case Names: The filing included names of legal cases that do not exist
• Fabricated Quotes: The document contained direct quotes that were never actually spoken or written
• Non-existent Statutes: The AI incorrectly analyzed or entirely invented provisions within the U.S. Bankruptcy Code
The primary team and secondary review all failed to catch these errors, meanwhile the firm's partners bill $2,000+ per hour
