OUR FALLEN HEROES, OUR BROTHERS who were brutally murdered in the orchestrated, preplanned Guimara attack by the BD Army on September 28, 2025, a horrific act that is part of the ongoing ethnic cleansing and genocide in the CHT. It is beyond comprehension that we continue to lose our siblings every year, and it never ends. *Although the media reported that only three Jummas were murdered on that day, several eyewitnesses claim that the number is at least 6! **The spelling of names may not be entirely accurate.

The Bengali settlers have just attacked on the peaceful Jumma protesters!

You won’t find this in any national news, but a mass protest led by a student platform called “Jumma Chatra Janata” is going on in the Chittagong Hill Tracts against the systemic pattern of rape that has been being committed by Bengali settlers and the military for decades. The Jumma people have reached their breaking point. They want to survive. They want to defend themselves. They want to protect their sisters from being preyed upon by the state machinery. They demand that Bangladesh safeguard the rights of Jumma women and the Jumma people as a whole. They want Jumma women’s mobility to no longer be restricted because of the insecurity the settlers and the military pose. They want a homeland free from settlers and the military. They want their land rights restored.

Update: they were compelled to release him last night at around 10 p.m.

The Bangladesh military has just forcefully abducted Ukyanu Marma, a student leader of the anti-rape platform ‘Jumma Chhatra Janata’, from Madhupur Bazar in Khagrachhari district, Chittagong Hill Tracts. He had called for an anti-rape rally there tomorrow. We demand his immediate and unharmed release!

Today marks one year of the historic demonstration that approximately 40,000 of Jumma students had staged in Chittagong Hill Tracts. Although, the powerful forces succeeded in suppressing the movement by meticulously planning a a Bengali settler’s death, they will never be able to silence it. The truth always finds its way out. May the fighting spirit of the young generation for their homeland never cease! The VICTORY will be ours.

Well, for your information your the Bengali terrorists you are defending didn’t go there for nothing. Do you see him holding a gun? All of them were armed with guns. Just In Allegedly, the military attempting to save six armed settler Bengali terrorists are carrying out an indiscriminate gunfire against the innocent Jumma civilians at Guimara, Khagrachari of Chittagong Hill Tracts. The insight is yet to be confirmed.

Yes, the army released the protesters, but in this state!

This is not an isolated incident. The Jumma indigenous women have historically been subjected to systematic sexual violence in the CHT. This tactic has been evidently used as a tool of oppression, aiming to intimidate, control, and erase the Jumma people. Bengali settlers backed and emboldened by military, routinely commit sexual violence against the Jumma women to strategically seize the indigenous land through which women’s bodies become their weapon. Even if the rapists are arrested for now, history urges us to ask: Can we truly expect justice for the victim in a region plagued by a persistent culture of impunity? In fact, while writing this post, two protesters demonstrating in response to the incident were detained by the army in the affected area, though they were released later. How many sisters must we lose before we get justice, before we are safe in our own land?

Another Day, the Same Old Pattern of the Settlers Six Bengali settlers named Sohail Islam, Monir Hossain, Arman Hossain, Enayet Hossain, Imam Islam and Saddam Hossain reportedly gang raped a 8th grade Tripura girl in the Vaibonchora area of Khagrachari. How did the settlers perpetrate their latest act of brutality? She fell prey to this horrendous crime of the settlers when she went to participate at the Chariot festival at Vaibonchora’s Jagannath temple on 27th June, 2025. After the festival ended, she couldn’t return home as it got late. So, she decided to spend the night at her uncle’s house nearby. The rapists followed her and her uncle on the way to his rented house. In the darkness of night at around 9:30 pm, the settlers broke into the house, tied up the uncle in a room and took the victim in another threatening to kill both of them. They locked other tenants’ room from outside so that no one can come outside. Then the rapists took turns raping her. At some point, she lost her consciousness and regaining it on the next day, she went back to her home and her uncle as well left for his. What makes the incident even more tragic is what followed. The girl, overwhelmed by trauma and fear, attempted suicide by drinking poison, on 12 July 2025 at around 7:30 pm, desperately trying to escape the fear and pain she had to endure. Further compounding the incident, it has come to light that the accused are reportedly affiliated with the student wing of a major political party, Bangladesh National Party(BNP). Picture: collected

You cannot criminalize an entire community, especially when the armed group in question is itself a product of state militarization. Blaming the community overlooks the root causes of decades of militarization, oppression, settler colonialism, and land dispossession. It's unjust to hold civilians accountable for the outcomes of systemic violence they neither initiated nor control.

Bangladesh, Free Bawm Civilians!

The image clearly reveals not only the wrongful arrest of the innocent Bawm people but also the inhumane treatment they are being subjected to in custody. This is a stark reminder of the brutality the Bawm community is facing! Bangladesh must immediately release all Bawm civilians, including women and children, and put an end to the systematic oppression and atrocities targeting the Bawm community.
