Hello World
Inscribed Wilds is a story driven top down RPG set in a fantasy world of five islands, with the first chapter beginning on the Bitcoin island.
The story follows a young sushi apprentice who, after pushing himself to exhaustion, wakes up in another world and finds himself caught in a growing darkness spreading across the land.
There, something from his old life follows him in a strange new form.
Onigiri.
Alive.
In this world, they are known as OnlyGiri. Some deceive him, some protect him, and some guide him forward. Back in the kitchen, he was mocked for being trusted with only rice and only onigiri. In this world, that old joke becomes something far more important.
The game will also feature some of our favorite Bitcoin native communities and characters, including $DOG of Bitcoin, Puppets, Gizmo, Fine Pepes, Bitcoin Cyborgs and OrdTorches.
Inscribed Wilds is not a Web3 game. There is no token, there will never be a token, and there is no token economy. We are building a real game with a real story, a small team, and no studio, no investors, and no outside backing.
We are using AI tools across the wider process, including development, coding, design support, production, and social media content, while the in game assets themselves are being created by a real artist by hand.
Private beta mid summer.
First chapter on Steam targeted for September.
