Viggo Mortensen was the complete opposite. Boyd humorously said that in real life, Viggo looked like he’d just walked out of a bar fight—rugged, rough around the edges, and utterly unconcerned with appearing polished.
The contrast between Tyler’s natural elegance and Mortensen’s earthy roughness perfectly mirrored the energies they brought to Arwen and Aragorn on screen.
