@StefanJD Gotcha. Same here, when it does something I don't like, I make it fix it and add to the rules so it doesn't do it again. What model do you use with it? Opus 4.5?

@ItsShameLess Yeah, I already had a rules file for cursor so just converted that. It's a living file that just gets new stuff added on when we add something to our style guide or decide on a new bit of tech we're using

Genuinely shocked at how good OpenCode is. May spend most of my dev time doing code review now just to check its output

@StefanJD You tried the /init and /init-deep for your own rules? How often do you update that file/structure?

@ItsShameLess I'm just getting it to write RoR code which it's doing pretty well. It does need a lot of help remembering to run tests and abide by certain syle rules but all in all it's been pretty solid. It's like a junior dev that always agrees with you (which is good and bad)
