Day 25 of building in public. The first production booking completed today. Planned to test only the main flow. Ended up building and handling edge cases on the spot. The first booking teaches you things no amount of internal testing can.

Day 24 of building in public. First production booking is moving through the system. A few integrations did not behave exactly as expected, so spent part of the day tracking those down and coordinating with vendors. Now waiting for the full flow to complete.

Founders in India, which bank are you using for your company current account? Trying to decide between HDFC and ICICI. ICICI seems to have better API banking support, but does that even matter if you’re using Razorpay? Would love to hear real experiences.

Day 23 of building in public. Finally created the first booking in production today. Payments are still blocked since company registration is in progress, so had to bypass that for now. Booking is live. So far so good, nothing broke yet.

Day 22 of building in public Planned to do the first live booking in production today. Instead, spent the day recovering a suspended AWS account and bringing everything back online. Then hit another blocker with payments. Not the day I planned for, but getting closer.

Day 21 of building in public Took a break today. No meetings. No coding. No planning. Just stepped away from the screen for a day. Back at it tomorrow.

@compileandpush Going good man, All wired up now, will start testing out the work flow’s manually and then good to do the beta launch.

Day 20 of building in public Big milestone today. Finally got the commercials finalized with the vendor. Now wiring everything into production and getting ready for a small beta launch. Feels good to see weeks of discussions finally turn into progress.

Day 19 of building in public Made some progress finalizing commercials with the vendor today Spent time reviewing everything still pending before launch The closer you get, the less it’s about features. It’s all operations, compliance,vendors,small details you didn’t plan for.

Day 18 of building in public. Second slow day in a row. Spent time revisiting an older project that had been sitting untouched and had a few team conversations. That’s how some days go…
