@TheDezembro My tolerance to 'woke' in games is usually based on how forced it feels. I feel like I can just tell when a character is there for good reason or if they're just HR slop. I have so much more to say. Damn free account limits lol. I watch your channel so I'll check out the review.

@TheDezembro I agree with you 100% and it's def not unique to Endymion. As for the game, I was turned off when the devs told us Bond was modernized, especially when I believe most gamers don't want that, but I decided to buy it anyways so that I could make an informed judgment on it.

I think there's a lot of retarded discourse on this game here but I disagree. There's rly dumb arguments against it like that clip fighting a goon in a kitchen or saying it "plays itself" because of the guided driving sections (that yes, are pathetic and designed to get you from A to B, but regardless are not representative of the TacSim gameplay you do in the actual levels). But yeah I don't think this is that great for anyone who played the studio's previous Hitman games. More power to the homie if he's having a blast but it's basically diet Hitman. It's that experience but with far less openness and variety in the levels. Like, SIGNIFICANTLY less. It's very easy to get to your targets and half the fun which comes in the freedom Agent 47 has within the levels is cut out. To make up for that lack of openness and variety, it has better gunplay, hand-to-hand combat and some setpieces that even remind me of stuff like Uncharted which I do miss. Oh, and a Story, which I hated that the recent Hitman games didn't properly have. I do think the actor and the quality of the scenes and shit is dope, and I've been enjoying the reluctant mentor dynamic with Greenway but this doesn't feel like Bond at all. And I already know what some will say - "it's an origin story" - fine, but regardless, it doesn't feel like Bond and my biggest issue so far is how flat everything feels in the world. It feels I'm playing a Ubisoft game. Not mechanically - oh god no. This is much more competent. But these detestable "modern settings" with "modern dialogues" and "modern characters" make everything feel so sanitized. I'm supposed to be a super spy for the MI6 but everyone back at HQ acts those modern-day sections of Assassin's Creed Black Flag & Rogue at Abstergo. Where's the style and the gusto? Villains make up for this by acting like actually dangerous secretive forces but there's always this duality there between the 007 super-spy game and the sanitized, lame "Ubisoft AAA Ttitle #36". And this duality within Bond too of, like, THE James Bond, and the "Nathan-Drake-like" 'skilled-but-lucky little shit who cracks jokes when in incredibly dangerous circumstances that he clumsily finds himself in'. Anyways, I'll eventually put all this better into words in a video, fellas lol. It's not the utter ddddogshhhhit being made to look like on X but 70 dollars is a big ask for Diet Hitman - especially if the story doesn't pay off, so buyer beware and all that. Watch gameplay. If you're not into Hitman's open-level stealth games, you might not enjoy this. In fact, even if you ARE into Hitman, you might not enjoy this either because it's not Hitman. Half the fun is finding ways to orchestrate opportunities to kill your targets - so far, I've had no assassination targets in the game.

@joerogan I've probably seen over 100 comedians live and I'm not exaggerating when I say that Harland Williams was one of the best. His energy and comedy works really well in person. HIGHLY recommend seeing a show if he's ever in anyone's area. Easily one of my favorite nights of comedy.

@Grummz Everyone is complaining about Fable's horrendous characters and the male's hilariously sassy walk, but I'm most let down by how it doesn't even look anything like a Fable-like fantasy world at all. Maybe it's the push for realism or whatever, but I don't like the aesthetic.

@Grummz The funniest part is seeing PS names/logos in Xbox game showcases and then seeing NO PC/Xbox listed in Sony's showcases when they are showing an XBOX game. I don't care about fanboy wars, but I swear some of it is too funny to ignore.

@Grummz I've unironically seen a ton of these types of buildings in drawings before. My friend from many years ago drew one that is eerily similar to one of the examples above. I wish I had it still. Either way it's not an original layout at all.

@EndymionYT It's always a comms manager or dev out of the West too. Modern western AAA gaming is cooked. They either 1) block literally everyone or 2) spend most of their day fighting gamers online. It's actually crazy how often I see devs and social media people fighting gamers on here lol.
