FIBA U18 2026 European Championship Prediction Group A I think France is obviously the best team there, considering full potential roster, they have guys like Houindo, Soliman, Mahop, Penda and Yimga that are obviously unplayable at that level, and a 12-man roster with the highest talent at the event. Greece is my favorite to get second place, with a leader in Chatzilamprou and a solid roster overall with 2 important 09 names in Giantsidis and Zoupas, and some solid role players like Skliros, Chaidemenos and Asimenios. Israel will have the talent of Aronov, and some intriguing starters like Lachmanovich, Musis, Orland and Lewinthal, but they aren't better than Greece, especially 2nd unit. For Austria should be very hard to reach a placement higher than 4th. FRA 3-0 GRE 2-1 ISR 1-2 AUT 0-3 Group B I think Serbia is the obvious favorite there, with a strong 08 group with Bjelic, Danilovic, Karalic, Bikic and Nedeljkovic, some solid depth with Susic, Pavlovic, Gnjato and a great underage generation led by Bjelica, Kusturica and Simjanovski. Turkey should be the second force, led by Omer Kutluay, helped by strong pickups in Koyun, Alyanak, Ziyaettin and 09 Karutasu and Ozturk. Slovakia and Denmark will contend the 3rd place, but I think SVK's experience will led them to win the game vs the Scandinavian team. Randuska is a great scorer, Kubala and Rybar the other big 2. Denmark will bring the youth generation, talented but raw, with Drejer, Troels Smith and top class '10 Moller. SRB 3-0 TUR 2-1 SVK 1-2 DEN 0-3 Group C A strong group at the top, with Slovenia, Germany and Lithuania, that I think will finish in that order at the end of the group phase. Slovenia has a very strong group of starters in Stjepanovic, Joksimovic, Ciperle, Bojovic and Jarc, and underage depth in Cizej, Pregl, Rezec and Siftar. Germany hasn't the stronger generation, but a solid group of guys that should reach the left side of the standing. Jamie Edoka will be the star, Petric and Kemmer two strong and effective wings, while Dueck should be one of the top bigs to follow in Trento. Size shouldn't lack for Germans, with 7'1 Klein, 7'1 Lindsay, 7'0 Dueck and 6'10 Kroger at the center position. Lithuania, like Germany, hasn't the strongest generation, but has a star frontcourt in Stombergas and Aliukonis, a great mix of rim protection and productivity, and a solid backcourt in Zibuda, Prekevicius and Sabeckas. Bulgaria is the obvious 4th team. SLO 3-0 GER 2-1 LTU 1-2 BUL 0-3 Group D This is the group with the smalles variance of talent, with 2 bigger teams at the top and 2 solid teams to complete. I think Italy has the most complete 12-man roster at the event, they will have a star in Niang, and solid and sized role players, especially at the wing position. Bottelli, Livingston, the 2 Manfredotti and Berlingeri will complete an always talented backcourt, hoping in the return of Cattapan, while a bit of an issue is the big man department. Acunzo will play a lot of minutes, other bigs included in the team should be 6'8 Bandirali, 7'0 Marciante, 6'9 Dinoia and 6'7 Abreu. Spain is the other big team, with talented forwards in Viguer and Niebla, with also Diallo under the basket giving volume and motor. Sanchez is a reliable floor general, but in a backcourt that is way less talented and complete than Italian one. Eyes open on possible presence of Maximo Adams and Juom Maker Bol for these 2 teams. Latvia is a strong team with experienced players in Aizpurs and Grinvalds, followed by Veselovs and probably '10-born Berrouet. Estonia has a very strong '08 generation that won silver at last year's Div B, and I think will win at least a game this stage, led by Sten Adamson, Roman Avdejev and '09 Kangur. @orsic_is_bigger I think with Garma that plays, they have the real possibility to promote in Division A. About U18, i like some 09 that did well with select teams, like Peric and Garac, I liked Josip Santro 2 years ago, and I think they are still one of the strongest team in U18 Div B.

Slovenia 🇸🇮 is probably the Nation with the best basketball growth in the last years. Still crazy to think that they avoid relegation to Div. B, finishing 12th, with a team with Lukas Bojovic, Stefan Joksimovic, Igor Stjepanovic, Maks Ciperle and Lun Jarc. With these 5, Slovenia is now one of the favorites to win the U18 FIBA Euro this summer

@fra_sempru Vedendolo dal vivo, la faccia è quella di un ragazzino, ma la struttura muscolare non è quella di un 14/15enne. In più ho sentito da qualche scout che il Barcellona ne ha due la cui età non è realmente quella.

🇦🇹6'9 Wing, Benjamin Schuch(@SchuchBenjamin) in big comeback victory for Austria: - 15 points - 4 rebounds - 4 assists - 1 steal - 26 minutes Big combo guard played well in second game for national team and had big impact on the team. Shooting ability, good ball handling and size makes Benjamin on of the players who deserves more attention. Last summer finished U20 Eurobasket (B div.) with 13.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game. @scout1spects @JUCOadvocate @FullCourtNet #NCAA

Netherlands is another nation that is increasing a lot his overall talent, being also overcrowded at the big man positions 🇳🇱 Keye Van de Vuurst de Vries stood up as the leader of NED's national team, being a reliable shooter and dribble creator, while David N'Guessan is showing solid things as a complementary big for a complete team. Backcourt hasn't the deepest choice, but still has 2 top 50 2008-born in Jayden Anike, supersized point guard with a grown man frame, and sharpshooter Yanu Slingerland from Ulm Academy. Dwayne Aristode is the future SG of this generation, freshman at Arizona and possible NBA Draft pick already in 2026. Tristan Enaruna is showing why he deserves a full time NBA contract in the G-League: he's shining as one of the top overall scorers while shooting 50% from 3 and having a solid diet of self created shots. He should be the starting SF with the complete team. Malevy Leons and Rienk Mast will contend the PF starting spot for NL Team. Leons is more of an athletic player, versatile on defense, effective as a cutter and catch&shooter, hustle player who brings excellent positional size for European basketball at 6'10. Mast is 6'10, too, one of the stars of the Nebraska surprise, in contention for Big 10 POTY, less defensive and versatile then Leons, he can play the 5, too. Really good PNP threat, has post game, and is a really good passer and floor spacer at his position. Center spot has multiple options in the tallest country of the world, with Quinten Post as the main option. Golden State's center has size, shooting and use of physical tools to shine as a star in WC Qualifiers. Jesse Edwards, former Syracuse and West Virginia center, averaged 14 and 9 for Melbourne United in NBL, offering exactly the perfect complement for Post, alley-oop finishes, rim running, defensive versatility and rim protection as an American kind of athlete. Other interesting names are playing well in the NCAA, but most of them are forwards or bigs, like Timo George, 2005-born from Portland Univ., Emmanuel Ugbo for Washington State, Anouar Mellouk from Morehead State and Youri Fritz for Northeastern. As young generations, biggest prospect is Endurance Aiyamenkhue from Ratiopharm Ulm, another 6'11 C, Tayshawn Gipson from Link Academy, this time a 6'3 guard and 6'1 PG Skye Bergens, respectively 2007, 2007 and 2009.

August Moller and Gustav Drejer has made their official NT debut at 15 and 16 years old. Denmark 🇩🇰 has a top tier 2009/10 generation, with 3 names that will play high level basketball for multiple years!
Matteo Actis 🇮🇹@JaiScouting

Denmark U16 Div.B Prospect Analysis 1. August Moller, '10, 6'9 F, Unicaja Malaga Moller is one of the best prospects internationally in his generation, scoring 15 PPG playing down a year in this year's U16 Eurobasket. Moller is very mobile, and can score in various ways; despite he has a slim frame, use well his body and shoulder to draw contact and possesses a very soft touch around the rim. Also, he showed potential as a shooter, despite a bad position of weak hand, has touch and ability to make multiple 3s in a game (4 vs Iceland, one was counted as a 2p). Plus, he has solid timing as a shot blocker: he is not a rim protector but that, pairing with wide sliding and length might make him a great 1v1 defender. He is also a really good rebounder. 2. Lucas Troels Smith, '09, 6'7 W, CB Zentro Troels is another very intriguing prospect for the 09 generation. Playing in Spain, he's adapting to an intense game that make him very impactful for Denmark playing off the ball, cutting and finishing hard at the rim. His length and positional size helped a lot on defense: his mobility and size will make him a versatile defender with impressive deflection instincts, scoring the most of his 2pM in fast break. 3 point shooting is his best feature: clean form and footwork, volume and very soft off the catch with flashes of off the dribble 3s, despite overall shot creation is still limited. 3. Gustav Drejer, '09, 6'6 G, SISU Basketball Drejer was the best scorer for this Denmark team, playing as the lead ball handler in a team with other 2 great scorers. Drejer is a complete guard, with high upside in all areas of the offensive game, and probably still growing in height considering his brother is 6'9. Gustav is a good passer who plays with his head up, despite has to limit his turnovers, and has solid slashing tools, being long, decently strong and with soft touch, a player that is more effective scoring self creating than off the catch, especially talking about the outside shot, promising off the dribble but with work to do off the catch, especially on his feet placement. Defensively brings intensity, can guard multiple positions, and there benefitted from his intensity and timing as a defensive playmaker.

He can develop into a 2027 Lottery Pick! Why? 1. NBA Frame and strength 2. Rim pressure, gravity creation, solid dribble passing 3. Not zero as a 3p shooter 4. Versatile defender, scaling up & down, can apply elite pressure when engaged. 5. Projects to be productive as a complementary starter for every team 6. Will still be young at June '27, being 20.5
