@jimmymcbride1 The thing with Robson was that he performed at this level regularly for club and country. No other true B2B midfielder scored anywhere near 100 goals…an exceptional player!
English

Gerrard, Lampard, Rice, Scholes, Rodri … none could lace the boots of Bryan Robson imho

@the96061 @ATLiverpool_ It’s not about him changing his mind. It’s about him making a judgement that was total bollocks
English

@ATLiverpool_ So a person can’t change there mind?, I wasn’t sold on him either when we first signed him but thankfully he proved me wrong!
English

@bobby_role Pound for pound as good a signing as Liverpool have ever made.
At the very least it’s 9/10.
English

@LFC @Jesanchez3 A proper Liverpool player. Our history is built on guys like this. Gave us everything.
English

@LFC4LIFENET Easy for you to dismiss the price rise seeing as you don’t go to the match and are never likely to.

Justin Rose has finished runner up on 3 occasions at the Masters, with painful playoff losses to Sergio Garcia in 2017 and last year to Rory McIlroy. Ahead of this years tournament he gave another classy answer on how he deals with adversity:
“I kind of realized that even before I won a major. I knew I was going to win some; I knew I was going to lose some. I kind of wanted to not get in my way too early, and I kind of realized when the opportunity presents myself to win a major, don't make it too important in the moment.
“Also, I kind of realized that you can't skip through a career without a little bit of heartache and heartbreak, no chance. If you're going to be willing to win them, you've got to be willing to kind of be on the wrong side of it as well.
“The key is showing up. The key is to try to be as free as you can in those moments. Yeah, you kind of have to hope a little bit along the way that it's your day. There's definitely been -- it could have been my day in a couple of major championships that I wouldn't have had to have done anything different really to be the winner as well. Hopefully with that mindset, keep chipping away, my day might still happen where a little bit of something goes my way.
“The point is you've got to put yourself there. That's the hard part. All we can do as players is to focus on our game, focus on our skill set, and make the odds in our favor the best we can. Sometimes the ultimate result, yeah, sometimes it's in your control, but sometimes there's a lot of other factors and little bits of movement that all have to kind of sync up.
“The better player you are, the more chances you're going to have and the more you're going to win.”
This is such a great quote and it sums up perfectly why it’s so hard to win golf tournaments, especially major championships.
Justin comes to Augusta National off the back of a T13 at The Players and a wire to wire win at The Farmers to climb him upto 9th in the World Rankings.

@chomakovg I didn’t say I was any better, I was simply refuting your claim that I don’t watch football.
Slows the game down, shits out of 50/50s all the time, never makes himself available in difficult areas. He runs around a lot closing down, but when does he ever put his foot in ?
English

Just because you hold a season ticket doesnt make you better than anybody else. Just because you watch football live doesnt mean you understand the game.
No thanks. I dont watch baseball. Keep your ignorance going though. The irony of you crying about the one player who actually has tried all season and given his all and carried this team but you claim to know he doesnt work hard. What an absolute joke
English

You might not like Szobo as many of you have been on his case since last year since many dont appreciate what he does and how hard he works, cool. Thats fine.
You might not like what happened after the game against City, in which I agree the optics are not good. He needs to be better as he should know the situation but im sure emotions got the best out of him. Despite popular belief, players care even though it might not seem so.
But to get on here and call his wife names. Post how he dresses or what car he drives doesnt mean he doesnt care about football or the performances.
Last thing, I keep seeing people say “who dares compare him to Gerrard, he isnt even close, its only because the number 8, should never be put in the same sentence, he is nowhere near captain material…etc etc”
Gerrard is one of a kind. Best midfielder in the world for me. My favorite of all time. Nobody will get close but Gerrard is the one who has mentioned all of those things above that he wants Dom here for a long time. Sees a lot of potential in him as a captain. Sees him as the one who is the closest thing to a modern day Stevie in terms of similarities. All his words. Not saying you have to agree with it. Just saying It was Gerrard himself who has mentioned and praised Dom plenty.
Point is, going on here and wondering how these comparisons or talks or whatever you want to call it have started is because Stevie has mentioned and had praised Szobo plenty of times through the year/years. Not just a random person on X.
To sum it up…You dont have to like him. You can be pissed off about what happened after the game. His wife/family has nothing to do with this. His clothes or him carrying a bag has nothing to do with it. And it wasnt a random person on X who said those things about a potential captain, how good he has been, and similarities of the two... It was Stevie.
Anyway, Liverpool to beat PSG in the CL. Up The Reds.
English

@chomakovg Haha. A yank trying to tell me about football and my own football club. I’ve been a season ticket holder since the 80s and have forgotten more than you know about the game.
I know a player who is going through the motions when I see one. Stick to baseball sweetheart
English

Cowboy country? Lol okay. Must feel really tough making dumb ass comments like that. He is one of the few who I can say has worked his ass off all season. Sure bad games happen but to say he pretends to work hard you definitely dont watch football at all. But do your thing and show how much of a prick you are.
English

@paddyparody @ATLiverpool_ He’s playing for Liverpool not the Dog and Duck.
Maybe he should have put his foot through it, but my point stands; I’ve been watching the same scenario play out all season, no one showing for a pass. If you don’t think it’s a common issue then you’re fucking blind or clueless
English

@JamieAB77 @ATLiverpool_ Utter shite, no one is showing for him because they want him to clear the fuking ball like he should've done
English

CLEAR YOUR FUCKING LINES CURTIS
This was 30 seconds before the City goal, and about 40 seconds from half time.
Nah. Feinting left and right. Taking two much out of it, as per fucking usual.
Shite footballer. Sell him in the Summer. #LFC
English

@Tintin04110411 @ATLiverpool_ 😂 Fuck off. You’ve never kicked a ball in your life, or been within a 1,000 miles of Anfield. To busy playing Minecraft with your sister’s knickers around your head.
You stick to having a scapegoat for this mess if you want, I’ll continue to see the bigger picture
English

@ATLiverpool_ @JamieAB77 Just say you don’t play football irl mate
The moment he got the ball under control, he was facing backwards and other players were pressed
The only option was to get the ball to his left and if he had launched it and lose the ball, you cry babies will cry about that too
English

@jamie23cav @ATLiverpool_ Maybe he has, but my point still stands. Who tried to help him? Been watching these lazy bastards go though the motions for months and I’m sick of it
English

@JamieAB77 @ATLiverpool_ He got himself in a mess, simple ball up the line to Ekitike or just clear the ball
English

I personally think it is time Liverpool looked for a new manager but I also respect what Arne Slot has achieved. Personal attacks on the man as an individual is an absolute disgrace and goes against everything YNWA stands for.
Yes, he has made decisions I don't agree with and at times they make me angry but so called Liverpool fans having a go at the man as a person is absolutely out of order.
I think it is time he now moves on because he cannot get the best out of the team and I don't think he can regain that belief from his players. They look disinterested and lacklustre, which is also a sad indictment on the players also.
But respect what Arne Slot has achieved, wish him well (if you do want him to move on) but be respectful. That's my view anyways.
English

@DaveRyan1970 Different standards lad.
Are you the same set of fans that attacked player’s cars leaving the ground, and made one of their best ever players stay away for years for fear of their own safety?
English

@NickyAllt Rigsby was a wonderful creation. On a par with Fawlty, Mainwaring, Fletcher, Del Boy, Partridge and Brent.
