I can see your point, but I also believe it's such a fantastic chance for more Canadians to discover this amazing event that many of us already love.

@lanocty @EurovisionTom @escgottem @escgabe Canadians can also currently watch the contest for free on YouTube where it airs annually on the official ESC channel at Noon Pacific Time which is the perfect time slot for me anyways lol. Plus this opens the door for more Canadians to experience the spectacle that is Eurovision

@EurovisionTom @JeremyAndrosoff @escgottem @escgabe No no no… this would be horrible. Canadians don’t know Eurovision… it’s not aired on tv here. We don’t play the kind of music anywhere that is in Eurovision. This is a monumental mistake.

@lanocty @EurovisionTom @escgottem @escgabe It sounds like the CBC would air it as part of the budget plan. Cineplex shows it live in Canada as well. I live in BC and many people here are fans, and I've heard Snap, Tattoo, Ooh Ah Just A Little Bit, Dizzy, Arcade and a few others on the radio to name a few.
