@SRG112211 @marceelias Anyone who understands history knows that you are lying by using labels from 150 years ago that no longer apply today. The Democrats of 150 years ago were racist conservatives. The Republicans of today are racist conservatives.

Meta just paid the lowest effective federal tax rate in its history. Thanks to tax breaks and loopholes, it avoided $13.7 billion in 2025 federal income taxes. But now it's planning to lay off 10% of its global workforce (8,000 people) by May 20 — with more job cuts later this year. Trickle down hoax.

Trump was 43 when his wife testified under oath that he ripped hair from her scalp and sexually assaulted her in 1989. She also described a marriage marked by physical abuse. Trump was 46 when Jill Harth accused him of sexual assault at Mar-a-Lago in 1992. Trump was 51 when he boasted, on the Howard Stern show, about watching Miss Teen USA contestants change their clothes. Trump was 57 when he decided NOT to file a police report after being informed that Jeffrey Epstein had attempted to solicit sexual services from a spa employee in 2003. Trump was 59 when he was recorded making statements in which he boasted about sexually assaulting women. At some point, you have to be honest with yourself. There is a pattern of behavior.

The White House is completely silent as BBC confirms a consistent pattern of massive financial spikes occurring just minutes before Donald Trump makes market moving announcements. The administration is facing severe allegations of illegally profiteering off inside knowledge.

Trump said Friday that the Strait of Hormuz situation was "over." It very obviously wasn't. Trump said Friday that Iran agreed "to never close the Strait of Hormuz again.” The next day, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz again. Trump said yesterday that Vance isn't going to Pakistan for the talks. Officials quickly said Vance is going to Pakistan for the talks. Trump said this morning that Vance had left and would be there tonight Islamabad time. Officials quickly said Vance is actually leaving tomorrow. Trump said Iran has no military anymore and that "everything's gone." Iran continues to have a military with destructive capabilities. Trump said the pope issued a statement saying Iran can have a nuclear weapon. That never happened.   Trump said nobody expected Iran to retaliate against Gulf countries. That was widely expected. Trump said the only planes the US has really lost in the war have been to friendly fire. He said this at the same event at which he had spoken at length about what happened after Iran shot down a US plane. Story on the president's ever-growing number of false claims on big and small matters related to the war – and his triumphant claims about supposed Iranian concessions that we just can't assume are based in reality: cnn.com/2026/04/20/pol…

A poll he doesn’t like: “It’s a rigged poll.” An election he loses: “The election was rigged. It was stolen.” A court ruling that goes against him: “The entire process was rigged. Judge was unfair to me.” Media coverage he doesn’t like: “Fake news. I’ll sue em.” What a weak, pathetic, cowardly way to go thru life. He always plays the victim.

The average American family paid $1,700 in tariffs last year, according to the bipartisan Congressional Joint Economic Committee. Few will ever see any of that money back. The refunds will go to companies, if doled out at all. What a joke.

@neoagrarian @HalSinger Your unsupported assertions are boring. I put up supporting information. You just keep repeating yourself... while being wrong. You cannot substitute arrogance and confidence for accuracy and facts, no matter how many times you repeat yourself.

@Jerry4BOfEd @HalSinger Think of a public defender. This is a government lawyer. Paid for with tax dollars. A public servant, even. But unlike a prosecutor their client is not “the people.” Same with a DOJ lawyer defending government employees’ regulatory actions.

Great NYT story revealing memos—and true motive—of Chief Justice Roberts to bend the rules to stop Obama’s effort to regulate emissions. Roberts sees his role, not as defending the constitution, but instead as protecting the energy industry’s profits, sparing the power sector from incurring any expenses in addressing climate change. This is the mentality of a lobbyist, not a judge.

@Madisox43 @DarrigoMelanie You blocked me, so... You should care about what corporations and rich people pay in taxes, because the less they pay, the less you will get in services AND the more you will pay in taxes in the long run for higher interest payments on federal debt. You lose out by being selfish.

@Madisox43 @DarrigoMelanie You're making excuses for corporations bribing politicians to get favorable tax laws. I'm not whining. I'm telling the truth. As far as "taking it up with Congress"? Not this Republican Congress (laughable). The public needs to change Congress, change campaign laws AND tax laws.

Tesla has paid $0 in federal taxes in 19 of the last 20 years despite reporting $264 billion in revenue. They shifted billions in profits to overseas subsidiaries to avoid paying taxes on it. And conservatives will swear, the mom buying her kid a cookie with SNAP is the problem.

The Trump admin wants access to the personal medical records of millions of federal workers, including their medical visits, prescriptions, and treatment histories. This is just wrong. I'm urging them to reserve course on this dangerous decision, which puts Americans’ privacy at risk.

@JohnConner_1997 @DarrigoMelanie Rich people and corporations pay millions to lobbyists and create PACS and superPACS to influence politicians in order to get billions in tax breaks. Rich people and the corporations they own are essentially paying for tax laws that favor them over you. So why do you defend them?

@DarrigoMelanie @AnanMouse I blame Congress, not Tesla or Musk (and I hate Musk). Corporations are obligated to do the best for their shareholders and if using legal loopholes allows a corporation to save money then that's what it's going to do. Congress could close the loopholes but they don't want to.
