@decodemma25 @kiiluren Well, he could’ve finished P2 even with a penalty if he’d opened a +5s gap, which looked very doable considering he managed to open a 2 second gap in just one lap (from the overtake - 61 to the DNF - 62). I really don’t get what’s confusing you about this

@brightpink5563 @kiiluren From the overtake on Lap 61 to the DNF on Lap 62 he’d already pulled out a 2s gap. So you could just as easily argue that he would’ve extended it to +5s by the end of the race, we’ll never know. What we do know is that he pulled off a overtake on his teammate and had a DNF at P2

@wraicedes @oscrossiant @sirenorris Mate, read it again: no FP1 AND a bad day. Bad days happen, it’s a long season, and nobody is perfect every single GP. Kimi had a tough day AND had 1 hour less in the track, yet still managed to pull off a P3, even with all that traffic
