@JoanofRestore @sonicstadium Oh Bless, I've been playing Sonic games since the very first game on the Megadrive - for the gameplay. There isn't a single Sonic game with what I would call a good script, its never been the focus. Some of the ones you named are the arguably the worst offenders. Black Knight 🤢

@GriFFoss @sonicstadium The dialogues differ in each language, so no. Try again. I like the 2000s era games for both good writing and unity of dialogue (for the most part). I can enjoy Eng 06, Shadow as much as JP

@JoanofRestore @sonicstadium Why do they have to be Japanese? Nationality has nothing to do with storytelling prowess. Hell, as Sonic is aimed at a Western audience it makes sense to have a western writing staff. Just a load of nonsense from weirdo weeaboos.

This won’t change anything when you want to change the script to appeal to western audiences, people prefer the Japanese writing than the English writing. Not only that the sonic character voices have to sound and act like them selves again just like how it was back in the 2000s. The balance between cool, edgy and a bit of lightheartedness works for these characters, but when you take away that the fans grew up with, the older fans are just going to play the older Sonic games or just play other games.
