This is horror in real time. The moment Israel started dropping bombs on CIVILIAN AREAS in Lebanon. Without any warning. Israel dropped 160 bombs in the first minute alone — massacring over 250 civilians, dozens of them children. People are still buried under the rubble.

The plan for a Greater Israel extending over the West Bank into Lebanon and Syria laid out with great clarity by a senior government minister. This is of course completely illegal, goes against all the stipulations of International Law and should lead to immediate sanctions

So will April 8 receive as much non-stop global outcry as October 7? Will it become a litmus test on every mainstream network, where guests are asked, "do you condemn the April 8 massacre?" Will US politicians hold up pictures of dead Lebanese babies and scream for revenge?

If 300+ people died and 1,000+ got injured in any place in the world. London, NYC, Dubai, Toronto, Paris or any "major city" everyone would be screaming TERRORISM. But when that HAPPENS within 10 minutes in an afternoon in Beirut, Lebanon by Israel suddenly the world switches up. Disgusting.

I have just spoken with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. I expressed France’s full solidarity in the face of the indiscriminate strikes carried out by Israel in Lebanon today, which resulted in a very high number of civilian casualties. We condemn these strikes in the strongest possible terms. They pose a direct threat to the sustainability of the ceasefire that has just been reached. Lebanon must be fully covered by it. I reiterated the need to preserve Lebanon’s territorial integrity and France’s determination to support the efforts of the Lebanese authorities to uphold the country’s sovereignty and implement the Hezbollah disarmament plan.

I hope this is correct not because I like seeing Trump waste our time and lie to us week after week but because I don't want any more Iranian civilians to die tonight in ramped-up murderous strikes from a thin-skinned malignant narcissist.
