Happy Santa Anita Derby Day! I just went through the list of winners yet again, and the answer remains the same: 1988 - my late, great friend Tony Glassman picked me up in his dad's Corvette and drove me to Santa Anita to watch Winning Colors beat the boys is my favorite. Yours?
@gicards1@PSAcard I have an "Express" order at PSA. Arrived 2/27. 15 business days btw... sitting in QA Checks. Only 5 days late of their estimate though. Insane that w/ auto I'm paying $200+ and not getting the card back in the timeframe.
@TheOnlyMerkules@BosCardHunter Not defending the bozo from the Whatnot stream but "time value of money". Can easily turn what he assumed he'd get ($160) into more than the graded value of the Charmander in the 3-5 months it will take PSA to grade it simply by operating a successful business (not that his is).
@JLazzy23 Is there a comparable situation in any of the “major” US sports - NHL included - where a legitimately & historically bad team just basically decided well into a season that all of a sudden they were going to be this good? FWIW, it drives me nuts, because I can’t stand the Sabres.

One underrated thing about Pokémon cards:
The artists.
Some illustrators have styles you can spot instantly.
Once you notice it, you start collecting the artist, not just the Pokémon.
Do you have a favorite illustrator?
🚨 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: FIFA will sell World Cup playoff tickets for as low as $17.
· FIFA is implementing a "dynamic pricing" model where ticket costs fluctuate based on real-time demand, similar to airline or hotel bookings.
· While this allows for low-cost entry to some matches, prices for high-demand fixtures are expected to rise significantly as availability decreases.
